Decent place but needs some TLC

We chose this home based upon the location and the pictures. When we arrived, we were a bit disappointed in the overall appearance of the gounds. It was definitely more run down than the pictures portrayed. The entire complex needs some paint and lots of TLC. The house itself was fine, but it is advertised as OK for long term guests and I would have to disagree with that. There's no washing machine, iron or ironing board, not even a full length mirror in the entire house. We stayed for five nights and had to rent a motorbike and drive to get some laundry done. Overall we enjoyed our stay but if we were to come back to the area, we would probably choose a higher end hotel. However, if the owner put a little money into adding a few amenities AND the property grounds improved, we would possibly come back. The staff was great though and they were very helpful whenever we needed them.
