A great stay all around! The owners were very responsive and great hosts. The tiny home was perfect for the two of us and our dog. The property is in the heart of Shawnee Forest and provides the quiet getaway from city life! Would recommend to anyone!

What a lovely cabin in an idyllic setting! It could not have been more perfect. The cabin was nicely equipped with comfortable beds and the kitchenette was great. It was conveniently located for my son and I to explore the area. I only wished we would have stayed longer! We will be back.

Cute clean cozy but very simple primitive cabin, Perfect for 2 people Living room pull out sofa is very comfortable to sleep and then there is a low ceiling loft where younger teens/ kids can sleep. That’s all. All parks and trails are such a close distance by where cabin is. Perfect location. Very easy quick communication and response by hosts.

The cabin is located on beautiful acreage with lovely views. The hosts came over on their UTV to see if we needed anything and are very friendly - going above and beyond to make the stay as enjoyable as possible. The pillows and blankets were the most comfy I've ever used! Wish we could have stayed longer.

My wife and I stayed a night here and it was wonderful. The property is beautiful and a short drive away from many great attractions. The hosts are very accommodating and communicative. The cabin was perfect for my wife and me, it was clean and had every accomodation we needed.

We had a great stay at this hunting cabin. The cleanliness was excellent and the host was very attentive, responsive, and clearly takes pride in maintaining the property. Everything we needed was well thought out and the experience overall was very comfortable.The only note I would add is that the listing description could be more accurate and detailed in certain areas. That said, this seems to be an issue with the third-party listing platform rather than the host themselves. The host was transparent and helpful throughout, and the property itself met our expectations once we arrived.Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet and well-kept cabin experience.

We had a beautiful stay at the charming Hunting Cabin. The cabin was exceptionally clean with refreshing views out the windows. The land brought much needed comforting peace with the morning sunrise and evening sunset right before our eyes... the stars and the moon, too. Charmingly sweet, clean, refreshing and beautiful land.

Our cabin was very cozy and felt like home. It was nicely decorated! The property was extremely peaceful and beautiful. Our bed was comfortable and the shower was hot with great water pressure. Everything was clean! Our hosts were quite responsive and hospitable and even brought us some coffee for the Keurig. They also suggested a nearby restaurant and a short drive to Burden Falls which we enjoyed. We would definitely stay here again!

This place was amazing!!

We loved our time here, it was so peaceful! The view was amazing. We watched a coyote running through the field one morning!! Lots of birds and we were greeting by Yellowstone. It was dark for perfect sky viewing and storm watching. Unfortunately we didn’t do any exploring on the property but it’s a great reason to come back!

This is a great property in a beautiful location. Came to the area to hike and explore Garden of the Gods State park. All in all it was a comfortable stay, just a few things needs adjusting to make it great. The pull out couch is not very comfortable and most people would prefer to sleep in the bottom then to climb up to the loft. The ladder to the loft has one too many steps. The one on the top makes it hard to climb up. Exposed insulation and the light to the water heater are so bright it makes it hard to sleep. The air conditioner didn't work and it got hot in there. The front door has a window without a curtain leaving you feeling exposed and the sunrise shines right in your eyes. The space could use a table to eat on and a more comfortable seating area. Fridge is outside and small, and no freezer. The property is beautiful but it would be nice if there was a map to the waterfall features and better hiking trails, lots of poison ivy and ticks! I'm sure for a hunting cabin this is great, but listed as a cabin for 5 people it was tight with only 3 people.

I’d like to clarify to everyone that the air conditioner/heater DOES work. It’s a brand new digital mini-split. I always send a message and ask if everything is ok and if anyone needs anything. I’ll gladly show our guests how to work the mini-split. All the walls are closed up so there’s no insulation showing. The ladder has steps (shown in pictures) to allow for shorter people to use the loft. There is a bar with 3 bar stools for eating plus chairs on the deck and around the fire pit. The mini fridge (hotel style) has a little freezer area, however we are getting a larger one soon. The cabin is very private with nothing around but forest and fields. There are several different maps that show the trails and hiking destinations in the small dresser by the couch. (Again, we are always available to answer any questions that you may have. In my welcoming message, I let my guests know that they can contact me at anytime.) Poison ivy comes along with being in any forest area. You’ll want to come prepared for the environment. We’ve had 7 hunters stay in this cabin comfortably but everyone just uses the cabin for sleeping and stays mostly outside. The pullout couch is getting replaced because it’s difficult to open and close. We are very proud of our cabin and keep it as I do my own home. Same bamboo sheets, plush towels etc. If anyone has any questions regarding our cabin, please ask. Thank you kindly.

Great place for a peaceful respite! Stars are amazing bright at night. Hosts were very nice and accommodating. Hiking trails on property as well as being centrally located to most of the more popular places in Shawnee to hike. Our dog had a blast as well. The place was very clean and comfortable for a hunting cabin. Very pleased and will definitely plan to try and make it back since we try to stay in different areas each year. Thanks to Mr. And Mrs Fuller for a wonderful time.
