The best VRBO ever!
Great location, perfect setting, our 8 year old granddaughter loved it so much she and her Mommy came for an overnight. While it was cold at night (40) degrees, we were comfortable and warm on the Porch bedroom. We cooked on the grill, and were treated to the best doggies ever especially Riley. EVERYTHING THE HOST SAID WAS EXACTLY WHAT WE FOUND. Thank you you so much, we will be back. GOD BLESS YOU GREG! Michelle hang in there. This wasxthe best place for us to have quality time with our granddaughter as we live in Washington State.

Had a great experience!
Right from the start we had amazing communication with the host. We didn’t get to experience all that the host offered on the property like the amazing view from the sitting area because we were so busy but would absolutely stay again. If you do decide to stay in the room outside there is road noise you can hear but it didn’t bother us. We did have a few issues but that didn’t bother us much either, a bit if an ant problem and we lost power the last night of our stay. The host was also kind enough to leave us a treat the morning we left. Overall, we loved it and couldn’t have had a better first experience staying with a vrbo host!

Greg and I (Michelle) have both lived in Southern California since grade school. We attended the same high school but didn't meet until our late 20's. We married in 1990 and have 4 sons, 2 married and 3 grandchildren. We have 3 friendly, very well behaved dogs which you may see walking the 2 1/2 acre property with Greg in the mornings and evenings. We also have a very aloof cat and 2 turtles. We are very friendly people but not intrusive. I love to bake which will be evident when you try the cookies I leave in your room!

Why they chose this property

When we began looking for a home to raise our children in, we wanted an area away from housing tracts and shopping centers, but not too remote. We have both lived in San Diego County since grade school and had never heard of Rainbow before! When we first looked at the house it was definitely in need of love and attention, something we have a lot of to give! Over the last 20 years, we (mostly Greg) have done a lot of work fixing up the house and property until it has become what it is now, our oasis of peace in a very hectic world.

What makes this property unique

Rainbow, an unincorporated town in San Diego County, is secluded enough to enjoy tranquil days of peace and quiet, and central enough to access almost as many adventures as you'd like to have. Old Town Temecula with its numerous antique and unique shops, the famous Temecula wineries, and both the Pala and Pachanga Casinos are between 15 and 20 minutes away. The beach, San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Parks are roughly an hours drive. You can play all day and relax in the evening.
