Heather and Bobby’s place is more beautiful than even the pictures! So much lovely detail and thought put into it. We loved our stay and enjoyed the outdoor pavilion and wood stove to make our dinner. The house is immaculate and everything we needed was provided. We loved watching the deer and petting the horses. Thanks so much for your genuine hospitality, we met as strangers and left as friends…hope to return someday!

This property was beautiful. The owners were the most helpful and kind hosts that we have yet encountered through this app. They always responded to messages very quickly with helpful information often included. The host came over to start a fire in the wood stove for us one night. He was fun to talk to. He gave us a lot of info on the area and had entertaining stories about this property and the area in general. The home was large and very comfortable. We had everything that we needed. We were on a trip to visit Glacier National Park. The first couple of days were raining and most of the park closed due to flooding. But the area is so beautiful and there are hundreds of free trails outside the park. This home was a good launching point to enjoy these trails and a short drive to Whitefish, Kalispel, and Columbia Falls.Overall everyone in our group sums up our stay here with "Wow!".

Family Vacation

What a blessing that we picked this serene, relaxing, beautiful place to stay while on our yearly family vacation! Our main focus was to visit Glacier National Park which was conveniently located about 30 minutes away. Of course we had seen pictures online of the property, but the pictures did not do it justice. It's absolutely beautiful, and every contingency was thought of when preparing for a family regardless of ages including toys and games for the littles. Heather provided clear instructions for check-in, and the kitchen had everything you would need, again including dishes for the little ones. The owners are the nicest, most lovely people you'll ever meet and very helpful if you need anything. Can't recommend enough and would love to stay there again!

Amazing!!!

Heather and Bobby were probably the most incredible and thoughtful hosts we’ve encountered booking vacation stays. #1 - location - close enough to the city but far enough away to have a very private, peaceful location surrounded by trees. #2 - wildlife - deer came onto the property both morning and evening. A variety of birds coming to eat/drink from several bird feeders and small waterfall. #3 - comfortable and very clean amenities. Soft linens and towels. Well stocked for everything you might need. Games and other activities readily available. #4 - outdoor spaces, we thoroughly enjoyed a fire at the back of the property under a lit covered pavilion with fireplace. Heather and Bobby had prepared firewood and S’mores!#5 - clear instructions and very organized. We can’t say enough positive about our stay, it was really magical. Our teenagers want to live in Whitefish based on our stay because it was so enjoyable. We left feeling renewed and refreshed! What more can you ask for!!

This beautiful property was probably one of the best VRBO experiences we’ve ever had. Bobby and Heather, the hosts, have established such a peaceful and beautiful property and home. The house was immaculate and unique. It has all the modern conveniences of a home, with all the rural and rustic charm of a farm/ranch setting. The grounds are amazing. We saw deer on the property, enjoyed petting their horses, watching birds and listening to the sounds of nature. Even though there is so much to see in Whitefish and the surrounding area, we could have spent our entire time here and had a blast. They’ve thought of everything in terms of ammenities and entertaining a family. They made the check in and out process simple and were available for anything we needed during our stay. We would book this property again in a heartbeat. Thank you for making our stay so special.

About the host

Host profile image
I am a 4th generation local. My husband and I have 3 grown children and 6 grandkids. We enjoy all things outdoors, from hiking to fishing. Our favorite time is spent with our family playing games and watching our grandkids grow. We are excited to host our property and have our home be a relaxing getaway for people to come enjoy the beauty the valley has to offer.

Why they chose this property

We purchased this 30 acre property almost 4 years ago. We were able to parcel off 2 1/2 acres for each of our kids. This property backs up to forest service land, which means we will never have to worry about neighbors. It is so peaceful here. We enjoy watching the deer and elk that graze the hillside. Several acres to explore on foot or on horseback. We are minutes from lakes up Beaver Lake Road and enjoy being able to grab the kayaks and head out for an evening float.

What makes this property unique

Our property is close to several lakes, hiking trails, and only 5-10 minutes from downtown. It is located on a gated road with only 4 other homes, making it a quiet place to disconnect from the busyness of life and recharge. It would be a great location for a family gathering with the outdoor cook area. Or a retreat for those just seeking quiet and the natural beauty of Montana. The stock tank pool is a great way to cool off from a hot day, or just a place to sit back, dip your feet in cool water and breathe in the fresh mountain air.
