Our family stayed here for 3 nights. Property was very clean and comfortable and felt like a home away from home. Perfect location for visiting Sequoia NP (20-minute drive from property to NP entrance). Property host was very responsive to all our inquiries. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed the property. Idyllic setting. The cabin is very comfortable. Although the tall front windows have pull down screens, we could not access them and so the outside lights did interfere with fully restful sleep for the loft

We thoroughly enjoyed the property and it was a short distance to Sequoia Park Entrance, I like the laundry room and the kitchen to make breakfast for me and my family. I know we were on vacation and we did take some time to watch a little TV, it was hard to see the screen during daylight. Overall we loved our stay.

Overall, it was fine for our purposes and clean. The location was great for access to Sequoia NP, and close to the marina if you would enjoy renting a boat on Kaweah Reservoir. It was easy to find, and private without feeling secluded. There is adequate WiFi, but it is a dead zone for Verizon. The kitchen was an odd collection for cooking, but fine if you are planning to just make simple meals or pack lunches. The host even suggests using disposable dishes for your own convenience, (although there are plenty of plates/bowls).We gave up trying to use the TV since it frequently lost its connection to the WiFi. As mentioned by other reviewers, the people in the loft will not be sleeping in because the upper blinds are open. (We’re from an EST zone so it wasn’t really a problem for us.). The “sensitive plumbing” sign asking for no TP in the toilet was off putting, but it wasn’t an issue once we got over the initial response. We’ve stayed in lots of locations with septic systems and have never been asked that before. But otherwise, it was fine and we don’t regret staying there because we enjoyed the convenience when visiting the national parks.

Great stay at Three Rivers Cottage

We had a great stay in Three Rivers. It's a charming little town with good food and beautiful scenery. The cottage is right on a river behind the large main house. We enjoyed the sounds of the river and the 2 bedroom set up worked great for our family. The cottage was clean with an open kitchen and a good mudroom with laundry/dryer. It was hot outside but the cottage stayed nice and cool. Not really good access to the river on the property but it had nice views of the water.To get to Sequoia National Park it's a bit of a drive. The park entrance is 20 minutes away but all the attractions are about 1.5-3 hrs. from the house. It worked great for us because we liked being near a little town and cooking our own food but be aware you are going to be doing a lot of driving to get to the National Parks.

Let me start by saying that the house is very nice and we enjoyed our stay! My only real complaint is regarding the fabulous kitchen that was so poorly outfitted. We stayed for 6 nights in Three Rivers (not a location for dining). We had hoped to cook and there wasn’t even a single fry/saute pan The cooking supplies were an odd collection of items. We borrowed most of what we cooked from the people we were visiting. It was the oddest collection of kitchen ware and plenty of it, unfortunately not really geared to cooking the basics. Again, this is a very nice place in a great location. I’m writing this for the owners more than the guests. The problem is easy to cure.
