A few fellow teachers and I stayed in the cabins to celebrate the end of a school year and moving on to new adventures! We had the best time! Such a cute and quiet place we will definitely be back!
This was our 2nd year staying in this cabin, while on a hunting trip to Maine. Works well for the four of us. Enjoy doing a little fishing in the lake in front of the cabin, with my grandson.
Great location and super quiet. If you are looking for glamping this isn’t it. If you are looking for an awesome, rustic cabin in the woods, this is it. We went swimming, made a fire and had s’mores. We loved it and would definitely come back.
Great location and the cabin was larger than imagined from the pictures. The space was comfortable. The property owner was available, communicated and on top of the weather conditions.
We were very happy with our cabin and the proximity to the lake. Enjoyed watching the bald eagles over the lake and on it! My dogs also enjoyed romping in the snow on the lake! Hope to return again in the near future 😉
We really like this spot. The cabins are rustic but comfortable enough. Kids spent most of the time in the lake and fishing. We liked the updates from last year and the internet has improved which if you're forced to work while on vacation, you'll find it works for you. Appreciate that the cabins come with all the basic needs.

No internet service, no cellular service in area, they don’t supply bar soap or shampoo for shower, good luck on figuring out how to program the heater to work, smallish shower. Beds were reasonably comfortable, large refrigerator
Everything was exactly as hoped for and expected. The views, when not raining, are majestic. A storm knocked out the power, but the refrigerator and other essentials were on the generator. Because it occurred soon after sunset when it was still raining a bit, I recommend bringing candles or another source of light.
Cabin was clean and everything worked as expected. Owner was very responsive when we had an internet issue. Be aware, however, that the pictures on vrbo make it look quite a bit roomier than it actually is.
My wife and I are originally from Maine and have recently moved back. We have five kids and stay fairly busy between work, the kids, and the camps. The kids love playing on the beach and we enjoy taking out kayaks in the mornings when the lake is just as smooth as a bottle. We hope to create a very family friendly atmosphere at Brassua Lake Camps and look forward to meeting our new guests.
Why they chose this property
We purchased the property because of the location and could not have found a better place to raise our kids. We spent one evening on the beach cooking s'mores watching the sunset over the mountains and we were sold.
What makes this property unique
I am a former contractor and starting to upgrade each of the camps. The camps currently are rustic but well taken care of and clean. We are remodeling cabin two and three's kitchens this winter along with multiple other improvements and adding a dock system.
