This cabin was absolutely perfect for a weekend getaway to celebrate my husband and I’s first wedding anniversary! It was spacious and comfortable, the jacuzzi was great, close in proximity to the hiking trails at starved rock state park. Would definitely recommend for couples or families!

Great place-very large, open space. Perfect for our trip. Checking in was the only catch. We put the address in GPS and it took us deep into the resort cabins area. Reached out to host to ask about what building/cabin as I had not received any information. We had driven to the north so had to turn around and drive back to entrance to turn into south area. Host was very apologetic about not sending the check in information message.

Place was perfect for a weekend getaway to hike. Both bedrooms are on the 2nd floor and they share a bathroom. That was a bit unclear, but wasn't a problem. AC works great. The living room couches could use an upgrade, but other than that, everything was nice. Highly recommend for families!

This was our 3rd visit at this site, and each one has been wonderful. The accommodations are by far our favorite in the area and are reasonable and well-maintained. The host is impeccable and easy to communicate with. We did not have our dogs with us on this most recent visit, but we love the fact that we are able to bring them if we are traveling with them. The kitchen has everything we need, with lots of space. Thank you for a wonderful visit!

Only thing we didn’t like was trying to relax when we wanted to watch TV in the evenings. The sofa and loveseat sunk in. It would be best to update those two things. Plus the deadbolt on the front door was difficult for me to open once it was in the locked position. It needs to be adjusted or something.

Fun sister hiking trip and great place to scope out a future family vacation! There is quite a lot to do on the resort and it is extremely close to starved rock and matthesian. The St. Louis canyon trail is right across the street! The town is fantastic - definitely hopping on the weekends. The house was HUGE especially for 2 people and very clean. Loved the decor and location. Martin was great at making sure we had everything we needed. Can't wait to come back!

We had a blast! The condo was clean and super comfortable. The beds were like sleeping on a cloud. The yard was big enough for an Easter egg hunt. Plus all the amenities you could've asked for!!thanks again
