Professionally cleaned and managed- everyone is welcome

Two bedrooms both have full size beds, rooms and apartment are good size perfect for a stay in Ellicottville. Location can’t be beat!

Private rear entrance. Keypad / keyless access. Shared backyard, picnic tables, chairs, fire pit, hot tub and more with 3 other apartment units.

Always a call away and have help close by.

Village setting. Restaurants, Shopping, and Live music often steps away at the local pubs.

Free onsite parking for 2 cars. Walkable from there to village. No public Transport in town. Uber is present but inconsistent drivers schedules.

We spent a few summer days at this rental and really enjoyed the location—right in the heart of a charming ski town with easy access to hiking trails, local shops, and great restaurants. It’s a beautiful area to explore, and the town has so much character even in the off-season.The apartment itself is very basic but clean and functional. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, just nothing particularly fancy or styled. If you’re looking for a simple place to rest after a day of outdoor adventures, this does the trick.Overall, a solid home base in a gorgeous setting.

The location and designated parking at this property are second to none! The amenities are suitable for two couples or for a family with a few kids. It is a very short walking distance to literally everything in town. Check in and check out were super easy. Communication with the property owner through VRBO app was also simple. Could there be a few things updated? Yes. Were any of them deal breakers? Not in the least. And...the price was right. We will stay at the Straus Haus again for sure!

Disappointed

Property did not live up to expectations. Positives: great communication from owner, and we were allowed to check in early upon request. Also, fantastic location-close to Ellicotville Brewing. Negatives: condo is very outdated. And needs a deep cleaning, black mold in shower, cobwebs on bathroom door, register in bathroom is gross, stained old carpet, drying rack in kitchen has something growing on it. We paid less to stay on Washington St. 2 years ago for a nice, updated condo so this was quite a shock.

Heather, thank you for your feedback, albeit surprising given that not a single concern was communicated during your stay. Had you taken a moment to share any of these issues while on site (you checked in said nothing and checked out) we would have gladly come by to factually check on the claims you made. We want a happy guest and we are always open to constructive input, but when one guest claims to find black mold, cobwebs, and a mutant drying rack while dozens of others have had nothing but stellar experiences, it makes us wonder if its true is all. As for the decor, we proudly market this as a cozy ski country condo. Still, we appreciate your stay and will continue to work to make sure others enjoy their stay. Future guests simply need to know we are a professional management company and will always reply if we know something is not right.
