Guests are sure to enjoy a memorable vacation in this fully furnished, 3 bedroom/ 2.5 bath. The master bedroom has a king sized bed, while the remaining rooms are furnished with a queen size bed, comfortable for sleeping 6 people, extra person is $25/night. The big living room is furnished with sofa, and smart TV. The kitchen is perfect for dining as it is equipped with oven and refrigerator. Guests can enjoy community lake, beach area, and indoor pool.

My place is:
- 5 minutes to Kalahari Resort, Walmart Supercenter, Aldi, Wawa, CVS Pharmacy
- 10 minutes to Camelback Resort, Big Pocono State Park
- 15 minutes to The Crossings Premium Outlets, Pocono Raceway, Mount Airy Casino Resort.
-We have a motored pedal boat for rental $25 per person if interested.

The garage is not available to guests.
- Please take off your shoes at the entrance, thank you!
- Turn off lights, heat, AC, other electronics when not using.
- There are two rooms that are locked which is for our own use.
- No pets.

We had a great stay! The house had everything we needed for a short ski trip over the New Year holiday! We recommend this rental to anyone visiting the area! If we ever come back to the Poconos we would stay here again!

The property was clean, quiet, well supplied, and the owner was very helpful and quick to respond with any questions. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a good place to stay either to go to the nearby Waterpark or just to enjoy the beautiful area.

Wonderful stay

My family stayed at this property for a holiday vacation. The house was exactly as listed/pictured, and had everything we needed for a few day get away. Communication with the owner was seamless. We enjoyed our stay!

This rental exceeded my expectations. Everything was better than expected. I wish I was able to have a longer weekend to enjoy it. If I have the opportunity to visit the area, I definitely would be wanting to stay here again! The rules are simple and sensible to follow. The house was extremely clean when we arrived. Plenty of kitchen space, and the bedrooms were wonderful. Excellent living room area - we enjoyed the huge TV screens. The main bathroom tub was wonderful to relax in after having a rather active weekend. Plenty of yard space if we wanted to use the grill.

FILTHY, DISGUISTING PLACE.

The owner doesnt care about sanitation. he doesn't wash linens after the rental leaves. I found body fluids blood, saliva in the pillows and bed linens. the pantry and fridge had expire groceries from 3 years ago and it was disguisting as the oven. my whole family got sic with COVID after we stayed there.

There were no hand towels anywhere. We were given 1 regular towel per person, no washcloth. When you washed your hands in the bathroom or kitchen there was nothing to dry with. No paper towels, no extra toilet paper, what was on the roll was it. No pot holders in the kitchen, had to use a sweatshirt to get stuff out of the oven. Nothing to wipe off counters or dry hands. No extra blankets. The house was spacious and clean, a couple extra pennies to provide basic amenities would have made the awesome house awesome.

We arrived with 6 guests and the property is not in a habitable or clean condition. There is visible dirt on the walls, stained carpet, and stained bedding. The presence of personal belongings throughout the space indicates it was not properly prepared for guests. This does not match the listing and is not suitable for our group. We left immediately and requested and refund from the host who has failed to respond. Do not rent this property.

5 mins to Kalahari Resort

Cute and clean house right on the main street. Bring your own wash clothes and towels. Oh and iron. Everything else was great. Reminds me of home away from home!

Could not spend time outside due to bad smell.

I don't know what the smell was- it was like mildew, but completely overwhelming. I think it may have been coming from another property. Had to leave after the first night. Host stated he would refund the other two nights. On a positive note, many of the items in the house were labelled, so you know the rules of the house. For example, "don't touch the TV screen", "door locked/for our use", The bathroom mirrors had spaces for five or so bulbs, but about half of the bulbs were missing. The empty sockets were covered in clear packing tape, so you won't get zapped. The stove looked new. The cool rock in the front of the house has a neat cameral pointed at the front door. There are detailed instructions regarding the front door, and how to lock it. DONT LOCK THE DOORKNOB LOCK. If you do, you will lock yourself out of the house. This happened to us, and the host got us back into the house. The HVAC vents had dust bunnies, particularly the return vents.

I found the house to be a bit challenging as we were killing spiders every day and had a poorly disguised camera on the front door. The information available for the community pool and center was not clear with no directions and was still listed as closed in the guest resource book but was in fact open. The deck was in need for maintenance and the patio furniture old and dirty. The towels were literally one towel per person, no hand towels at all (there was 1 face towel per person) so bring towels. The owner was responsive to questions and typically answered within 30 minutes. When we told him the hot water ran out before we could even fill the tube he did seem to do something to help us have a little more hot water. The garage was not available but we did not know this until after we got there and picture makes the driveway look much larger than it actually is .

This house was beautiful inside and out very clean and spacious. I loved how everything was so close as far as Walmart and kalahari resort, it was the perfect heat away for myself and my family.

our stay

The location of the house was good. It was close to many scenic attractions. The house, itself, though, left more to be desired. The house was not as clean as expected. The furniture was quite old. In fact, when we sat on the sofa and dining room chairs, we were sinking into them. The house also did not have enough supplies for as long a stay as we were there for. For example, the house was only equipped with 2 cereal bowls. We were a group of 4. You would expect a rental property to have at least a serving of 8 for all plates, bowls, utensils, etc. Similarly, the kitchen was not well equipped with pots/pans, etc. For example, we had planned on making enchiladas for dinner one night, but there was no tray for them to be baked in the oven. We had to go to WalMart to buy paper goods, toilet paper, etc. Finally the bathrooms were not well equipped either. We were each given ONE bath towel and that was it. There were no hand towels, wash cloths, bath mats, soap, etc. The vanity in the bathroom was only equipped with 2 light bulbs even though there was space for 5 bulbs so it was quite dark. The only mirrors were in the bathrooms. And the shower heads did not function properly; the water only came out as a trickle as the jets in the shower head were blocked. Overall, the location is good, but the house needs much more updating as written above. We would not rent this property again and we would not recommend it to anyone else.
