Not a great time
When we arrived, I noticed that every tv (all were streaming-only) was brand new and had not been set up at all. When we tried to set it up, we figured out that the wifi was not working and as a result, no TV anywhere in the house. We contacted the owner, reset the router and tried everything we could think of, but the wifi never worked. The owner promised a partial refund (all documented on VRBO messages) and then later claimed that he had not been paid yet by VRBO and would refund when he did. Then he ghosted me for several months. When I asked VRBO to refund the money, they spoke with the owner, who told them it was all my fault the wifi wasn't working and refused refund even though all of this was documented in VRBO messages. FInally, there was a piece of paper in the house with times listed along with descriptions like "03:24, walking out of the house with TV"... so it sounds like the reason the TVs were brand new was because the house was broken into.
