About this property

Historic Home

Located in the heart of the bohemian Bywater neighborhood, this uniquely renovated 1200sq. ft. - 3 bed/2bath Bargeboard Home is emblematic of New Orleans' storied history.

The space
120 year old home made from deconstructed barges. It consists of old growth cypress and heart pine and was artfully renovated. It has a great "feel" to it.

There is a bricked in courtyard with a flagstone paver walkway to a re-purposed gate from the french quarter.

Why they chose this property

It is my favorite neighborhood in New Orleans!

What makes this property unique

There are many bargeboard houses in the city, however all of them cover up the bargeboard with drywall/plaster. I bought this house intending to show off the original bargeboard walls. Mine is the only house in the city renovated in this manner.
