Unfortunately, the listing was advertised as an entire home, and it was not. It was only the top floor, with people actively occupying and working in the lower level. Throughout the night it sounded like someone was working directly beneath us, and very early in the morning the noise picked up again. The first time this happens, it’s genuinely unsettling—you think you’re alone in a private home, and suddenly it feels like someone is inside the house.This isn’t about the people themselves, but about the lack of transparency from the host. None of this was disclosed in the listing, and the constant activity completely removed any sense of privacy. Had this been clearly advertised as a shared or multi-unit property, we would not have booked it—especially for a honeymoon. Future guests should ask very direct questions before booking, as the listing does not accurately represent what you’re renting

Nous avons eu une très belle expérience à cet hébergement. Pour nous, c’était exactement ce que nous voulions : le calme, la nature, une ambiance jungle, et une vue magnifique sur l’Arenal et le volcan. Le spa sur le patio était prêt pour nous, tout était propre et fonctionnel, et nous avions tout ce qu’il fallait pour passer un excellent séjour.Ce n’est pas un hébergement de luxe moderne de type penthouse — mais ce n’est pas du tout ce qu’on venait chercher. Pour nous, c’était plutôt un petit coin de paradis, avec le charme d’un chalet en nature. Nous étions même arrivés avant l’heure du check-in, et les propriétaires étaient encore dans le logement du bas à ce moment-là, ce qui est tout à fait normal. Ils sont partis peu après, et nous avons ensuite eu la propriété uniquement pour nous durant tout le séjour. Nous en gardons un très beau souvenir.
