Castle Apt. Redmond / Woodinville, King Queen with AC, WiFi, close to everything

Private MIL in my Castle home on acreage on the Woodinville/Redmond border. 5-15 min to stores, wineries, Tech Cos.-downtown Redmond/Woodinville Totem Lake Kirkland, 20-25 to Bellevue, 25-35 Seattle. 750 Sq.' with 20' vaulted ceilings. Skylights, Dormers with closets. Private Entrance. King bed in main room. Multiple rooms, incl. the Queen bed hobbit bedroom with skylight/window. Private entrance up 2nd floor. Huge yard with woods. Kitchenette, TV, Workdesk, Comfy Chair. Two friendly dogs here. The Hobbit sleeping room has a comfortable queen air mattress. It's a great Meditation room too. The apartment is part of the main house, connected at a hall/closet- its sound isolated and locked for mutual privacy. Please do not book if you wish to avoid possible interaction with my 2 sweet, guest-loving dogs. They are a 10-year-old Border Collie and a 7-year-old Standard Poodle. Parking is outdoors near the apartment entrance. Please notify us of any visitors. The neighborhood is country-like and great for walking. Trails in the woods are nearby. There are no streetlights, so please illuminate yourself for safety while walking after dark. You must go up and down outside wooden stairs that have 9" tread. They are well-lit, but it may be raining and rarely snowing. In the winter, I place tread grips on them in case of freezing. Always use the hand railing. I do not recommend this place for anyone who does not wish to use these stairs. The Washer and Dryer are shared with me and my household. They are located in the laundry room downstairs from the AirBnB. Please contact me beforehand to make sure the machines are available when you need them.

The default stove is one high induction burner. if you specify, I can change it to a two-burner desktop Cuisinart unit.

The oven is a wide Brevell convection oven. The microwave is a nice Sharp.

Please do not book the property if you have any issues climbing up and down the 14 outdoor deck steps with 9-inch-deep treads.

I've had a few elderly folks who do not like the steps.
Other guests with big feet and I have no problem getting up and down the steps, day or night.

Cooking smelly foods requires venting properly. Especially onion or Garlic. My daughter gets migraines if the smell seeps under the three door seals.

What a fun place to stay! Our two young granddaughters loved coming to the castle to play with us during our stay in the Redmond area, and they were especially fond of the "tiny rooms"! The bed was comfortable, the room well-stocked, and Charles took good care of us during our stay. The room has lots of natural light, although that may not be a positive note at sunrise in the middle of summer. It's a very quiet location deep in the woods, and we would stay there again.

A Visit to the Castle

Joe and I were winding up the final two days of our house remodel while staying at the Castle! Charles was very attentive in communicating with us regarding our stay. The area we stayed in was clean and neat. Although we did not use all of the amenities, there are beautiful new appliances, including a nice range, microwave, convection-toaster oven and a large refrigerator. There is also a very large screen with speakers which we did not use. We slept well in comfortable beds and quiet. Joe and I were quite happy with the Castle and would return should the occasion call for it. Thank you!
