The property is in an area that’s being gentrified. When I say being gentrified, it is still quite a mix, and there are quite a few loud parties with boom boxes and folks driving by with their stereos blasting in the middle of the night. Would not stay here with women only and we didn’t feel comfortable opening the shades. The house itself was comfortable enough, however if you plan to cook beware as there is very little cookware and what is there is badly scratched. There isn’t even a measuring spoon or cup, one small salad bowl, no silicone spatulas, only hard plastic, hence the scratched pots and pans. We didn’t even get a clean sponge and the manager/owner had no one who could bring us one. The washing machine also did not function as the start button was missing. It appears the cleaning crew isn’t the greatest. One of the cabinets was filthy with spilled coffee grounds and seasonings. The bathtub in the main bedroom is great to soak in but they have no drain on the floor so any water that spills out will get on your bath mat or worse. There is nowhere to put anything when you are in the tub because it is one of those freestanding “cool looking” ones but not very functional if you have a cup of coffee or water or a book. The coffee maker is a Keurig so keep that in mind if you prefer good coffee, you won’t get it there. Maybe if they up their game in the kitchen and the neighborhood cleans in up in a few years it would be a good place to stay. For now not.
