I can’t say enough positive things about my stay at this property! The owner is attentive and the property comes well stocked with toiletries, cleaning products, etc. - not to mention the location! Shaker square is literally a minute away so there’s plenty of dining options along with bars and the movie theater too. I would stay at this property every time I’m in town if I could. The home is large and roomy.

This property is on the lower (ground) level of an older duplex with a few steps to enter. It has 3 bedrooms but the one with a bunk bed can only be accessed by walking through another. It was clean and has been fully renovated on the inside, however it seemed that the host was not really ready for guests. I had to contact him 2 days prior to arrival to get check-in instructions and there was no property manual onsite (no TV, wifi, or checkout instructions). There were no lamps in the bedrooms and the lamps in the living room were unplugged and did not have lightbulbs in them. There were no curtains in the kitchen or dining room where the large windows faced an apartment building with numerous windows; we felt very exposed. Also, there was no curtain in the half bath, the dispensers in the shower were empty, and no extra toilet paper was found anywhere. We also found a wet towel folded on top of the clean towels in the linen closet, which was disgusting. Thankfully we had enough clean (dry!) towels. I’m not sure if this was a cultural thing in this part of the country, but there were no ice trays in the freezer, which I found strange. Again, was he just not quite ready to host? The most frustrating thing for me was that I contacted him on the evening we arrived to advise him of the above issues and he NEVER responded. Thankfully we were only staying one night. On the plus side, there were plenty of charging outlets in the bedrooms and he provided coffee and bottled water.
