Amazing historic house. Beautifully decorated. Comfortable, spacious living spaces. The sauna was a huge bonus. Located just a short 1-2 block walk from a few great places to eat.
The historical home was very clean, kitchen well appointed. The art and musical instruments were fun. We enjoyed the location for our four night stay, being nearly directly across the street to a bakery and a few restaurants was perfect for morning coffee and evening happy hour.I would share a few observations. The upstairs layout is that of an historic home. The threshold to the bathroom is a few inches and not common, and the sitting room had a many inches step into that space. Being a bit older we found it challenging to navigate these variable thresholds and simply bringing it forward for consideration. We did elect to sleep in the downstairs bedroom and worked well for us.Lastly paper products were at a very minimum with only a few sheet roll upstairs. Arriving late this could be a challenge if you were not prepared, fortunately renting often and having this experience we had brought our own supplies.Overall very pretty spot, great location and now knowing the quirks to be best prepared would stay again.
Beautiful home that is actually on the Historic Registry. Perfectly located adjacent to quaint downtown area. Walking distance to restaurants and food market. House was very clean, comfortable, and it was really nice of the host to have Keurig and K-cups available. I would definitely stay here again!

We had an incredible stay at this charming house! The host was very communicative and clear with instructions. The house was better than described in the photos!
The place was lovely! Historic property with a soul of hospitality. The outdoor sauna was perfect for the cold weather and relaxing. Curl up with a good book and enjoy this cute downtown only minutes from local bar, Dashers and the Exchange. We will definitely be returning to Homer and staying at this house at future dates.
This was a perfect location being just a few minutes from our family. The host offered very clear communication. The check-in process was very simple. The home incredibly beautiful and comfortable! The beds were fantastic. There was coffee and creamer provided we did not cook, but the kitchen is very well stocked so that if we were to cook, we would’ve had everything we needed.when we return to home or we will definitely be returning to this home for our stay thank you, James.
This historical home was beautifully appointed. You had everything you could ever need plus the most beautiful furnishings, a sauna, and space for a family gathering. I enjoyed playing the piano and taking advantage of the vintage record collection on the amazing speakers. Walk to The Exchange for fantastic food and drinks or to the performing arts center to take in a concert. One of the best parts? The hosts. Their communication was stellar and they made sure everything was just right. You can’t go wrong with this memorable property.
