About the host
Hosted by Giuseppe Micheletta

Giuseppe was born and raised in the heart of Rome, Italy, a city that shaped his deep love for history and culture. With paternal roots steeped in the traditions of Southern Italy and maternal ones anchored in the elegance of the North, he grew up surrounded by the rich cultural diversity that defines his beloved homeland. Early in his career, Giuseppe worked as a lawyer and served as a young city councilor in Rome, committed to making a difference in the city that had given him so much.
His journey then took him to New York, where he earned his degree from Columbia Law School and practiced law for several years. But a return to Italy for his wedding at the family villa, surrounded by guests from all over the world, sparked a rediscovery of the beauty and culture of his homeland. Inspired, Giuseppe decided to leave his legal career behind to follow his passion: creating a business that would share Italy’s incredible food, culture, and traditions with people from around the globe.
He returned to Italy, became a father of three, and transformed the family villa into a place where guests could celebrate, connect, and experience the best of Italian hospitality. It was during this time that Giuseppe met Mike, an Italian-American guest who shared his dream of creating a food-focused business in Italy. What began as friendly conversations quickly grew into a shared vision, and the two embarked on building their venture together.
“My family has always celebrated the joy of gathering in the countryside for life’s most meaningful occasions,” Giuseppe explains. “In that spirit, my father built the villa in the early 1980s. Designed by Gustavo Polimeni, it reflects the vision of Frank Lloyd Wright and serves as a timeless space for connection, celebration, and creativity.”
Today, Giuseppe’s mission is clear: to share the very best of Italy with those who seek its magic, blending family tradition, culture, and hospitality into unforgettable experiences.
