The 80 ft long oceanfront pool and extensive outdoor complex includes lush greenery, secluded in-ground spa area, partially shaded children's pool area complete with "spray ground" and zero-edge wading pool, dunetop boardwalk, gazebo and shower sprays. This outdoor oasis offers the perfect complement to the unspoiled beaches of the Outer Banks. The elaborate indoor complex is a masterpiece of cut-stone, tile and hardwood. The indoor heated pool is open year-round and features a translucent roof.

There are 3 elevators in the community for your convenience. Covered parking allows for 2 cars with additional outdoor overflow parking.

Location is the star of the show

This top floor oceanfront unit has a million dollar view. The balcony is large with all you need furniture-wise. The outdoor pool and spa looks lovely, but it was off season and closed. The furniture in the living room is worn and isn't comfortable, which is why my review wasn't 5 stars. Everything else IS 5 star.

Our stay at the Croatan Surf Club in the Best in Show unit was fun and relaxing. While we had a few appliance maintenance and smoke detector issues, the view from the unit can't be beat. Proximity to restaurants, attractions (the Wright Bros Memorial is right across the street!) and stores is also very good. General property grounds cleanliness and random pool items left from the day before did detract a bit, but those are minor things. And as other reviews have mentioned, the furniture in the unit is a bit tired. With the location, you'll find yourself spending very little time inside! Overall it was a fine choice and offered plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the views.
