Golden Strand Condo's unit G2 is an oceanfront condominium located at milepost 7.6 in Kill Devil Hills, NC. This beachy 3 bedroom/2 bath condo features an extreme oceanfront view, full size kitchen, private balcony, and more! This is a non-smoking / no pets unit.

This beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 bath beach front Condo is a great family vacation home. The beach is right outside your door - you can't get any closer! The unit sleeps 6 (feel free to bring an air mattress to sleep more). The master bedroom has its own private bathrooms with a private view of the ocean.

The living room has a beautifully decorated living area, flat screen TV multiple end tables and coffee table. The wet bar includes a sink. The dining area has a seating for six. The open well-stocked kitchen, with electric stove, and dishwasher looks out toward the dining and living areas. Along the back wall of the unit is a sliding glass door which opens up to the great private balcony overlooking the ocean. Here you'll find more seating for relaxing, reading or watching the beautiful sunrise in the morning. Or in the evening you can sit in the screened in patio in the front of the unit and enjoy a sunset. Completing the unit is a full size washer and dryer on site.

Outside, you'll find two fabulous pools (one just of the kiddies). A playground for the kids, charcoal grill and picnic area, ample security parking, and an elevator. For your convenience, there is also an open outdoor shower.

Get away, relax and enjoy your mornings on the deck enjoying your morning coffee and watching the sun rise over the Atlantic Ocean. Spend the afternoon on the beach watching the dolphins and pelicans and swimming in the ocean. In the evenings enjoy a variety of shopping and dining opportunities or relax in the screened in patio.

The Condominium is in a prime location for area attractions, such as water activities, Outlet Mall shopping, Outer Banks history, aquarium and dozens of restaurants from casual to fine dining! Great location for families

We are a family of 5 and loved staying here for the week! The condo is clean, beautiful location on the beach, and the owner is so helpful. Check in was a breeze, and he always answered any questions I had before and throughout the week. Great location to restaurants and stores. We will definitely stay here again!

What a perfect place for a stay at the beach! The view was incredible, the place was very clean and we had everything we needed (and more!) Beds were comfortable and we couldn’t have asked for a nicer host. Simple beach living

Had a great visit , condo is clean but a little dated . Balcony is stones throw to ocean. Only disappointment was the furniture on the balcony. It was mid October so complex quiet.

Fantastic view!

The property was clean as advertised. Richard was kind enough to allow date change at the last minute. The view of the beach/ocean from the balcony is breathtaking. The building’s proximity to the beach is nothing like I have experienced elsewhere (having been to lots of beach resorts in the Caribbean and Southeast Asia). We even saw a pod of dolphins swimming by!

Drifting & Dreaming

This property was above and beyond anything that I was expecting. I you love to sit on your porch and listen to and watch the ocean waves, you need to book Richard's place. My husband and I usually like to go out to eat when we are in Nags Head but I never wanted to leave our place. I cannot even put into words how perfect this place was. We will be back and we will bring our whole family as there is so much space for everyone.

Excellent stay. Great location.

Check-In Experience was very smooth, Unit was clean and tidy when we arrived. Decor was all functional and appropriate, but some kitchen appliances were dated or only in semi functional condition. (Blender, toaster, dishwasher) Other major appliances were all in good working order though (stove, fridge, freeze, microwave) Plenty of space for family of six to stretch out, even during the hectic dinner hour while food is being prepared. Beach accessibility is awesome, kids loved the community pool and playground as well. Pretty centrally located for all commercial needs, and a moderate 20-30 min drive down to Hatteras or Oregon Inlet area for outdoors activities. We had an excellent time, and would absolutely look to this unit again for future trips to the Outer Banks.

Family getaway

I stayed here with my husband and two young children, preschooler and baby, for a one week spring vacation. The location is perfect, we loved the view of the ocean from the deck and being just steps away from the beach. The condo is cozy and had everything we needed to feel at home away from home. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking meals. When we wanted to eat out, there were plenty of restaurants to choose from in the area. Our only complaint was that the check in process could have been smoother. We drove a long way to get to the condo and our key and parking pass were not available outside the management office upon arrival. Seems the property manager dropped the ball. However, I reached out to the owner via Vrbo, and he responded quickly and helped remedy the situation with calls to the manager on our behalf. Once we got inside about half a hour later and I saw the ocean view, I was able to get over the frustration pretty quickly. The rest of our stay was without any problems, so overall I would recommend this place and would stay here again.

The floor plan (3 BR, 2 Baths) was perfect for us and the unit was clean and well-stocked with plenty of towels/washcloths, but no washer/dryer in the unit. The kitchen had plenty of pans, dishes, and utensils and there is a separate coffee bar as well. Oceanfront balcony provided comfortable views of the ocean. Just bring soaps for bathrooms and dishes, and ask how to find the elevator! I would stay here again.

This was one of the best vacations we’ve ever had! Even though we delt with hurricane Erin, just off shore we still had plenty of sunshine and great beach weather! The no swimming flags from Tuesday on didn’t bother us one bit and we had exceptional views of the ocean from our living room and balcony. The condo was clean and beautifully decorated. We had everything we could’ve possibly needed. Communication was exceptional with our host and we will definitely be staying here again!

We had an amazing stay. The location is perfect and the view is incredible. We’ve stayed at a number of locations in OBX and this one was by far the best. While the unit and property are not fancy or luxurious, it’s very clean and roomy! The floor plan for the unit is great. Lots of space for everyone to spread out and have a little privacy. The only suggestion I have is a darker window treatment for the bedroom that faces west. There’s a security light right outside the window that lights up the outside walkway. While I’m thankful for exterior security lighting it was like the sunshine coming in the room. We just clipped a large beach towel over the window for the week. Other than a darker curtain for that window I wouldn’t change a thing!

This was our first vacation as a family of 4 and we couldn’t have had a better time. The easy walk to the beach, the private playground and the kiddie pool were a huge hit with our kids. The condo was clean and beds were very comfortable. The balcony and porch were great for us to relax on after the kids went to bed. We will be back!

Great Condo. Great location. RIght on the beach. We sat on the front porch and enjoyed the ocean 10 ten days. Didnt have to drag everything we owned to set up down in the sand. It was right in front of us.An exceptional stretch of weather was the cherry on top
