Lovely single story cottage with new and antique character. This cottage is located down a quiet lane, welcoming kids, pets and bare feet. Refreshing! Look for the road everyone's on, then DON'T follow it! Wishing you long dreamy summer days.

3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths: 2 with Queens, 1 with two Twins. Bathrooms have shower only.

Amenities include central air conditioning/heat, ceiling fans, complimentary wireless internet access, 3 cable TVs. Washer and dryer. Pack-N-Play.

The exterior offers a screened porch with deck swing, hot/cold outdoor shower, park style charcoal grill, picnic table and fish cleaning bench. Covered parking.

No Smoking. Pet Friendly. Limit of 2 Pets. Limit 2 vehicles.

Sweet Ocracoke Retreat

The home was conveniently located near the town center. It had been very thing we needed and more. It added to our enjoyment of this very special place.

We loved our few days at Fresh Fruit which were unfortunately cut short due to the evacuation order for Hurricane Matthew. It's a warm and welcoming home on a quiet dead-end street. Love the location and the screened porch swing. Two areas needing improvement are the interior lighting in the living spaces and the beds. The lamps need bettering I quality bulbs with greater light output so one can read comfortably in he evening's. The beds are extra firm, which we found uncomfortable for a good night's rest. When it's time to replace the mattresses, please consider the Hilton mattresses; https://www.hiltontohome.com/product.aspx?Mattress-Box-Spring. My husband travels extensively and frequently stays in Hilton properties. Although the two of us prefer different levels of mattress firmness, we both love the Hilton beds and sleep well on them.
