My husband, Ned, and I cannot say enough about the value of this property. The condo was immaculate and beautifully decorated; we especially enjoyed the original art pieces. Some of the desert art was painted by our talented host. We loved the community center with its wide range of amenities such as fitness center, billiards room plus access to pickle ball courts, swimming pools, and tennis. You are steps away from their golf course and numerous courses nearby; also, around the corner from the oldest winery in California.You will love the proximity of shopping, restaurants, downtown San Diego, beaches, walking trails, parks, and more. We appreciate our host, Joy, for welcoming us into her beautiful home. An effort was made to book for 2027, but her condo was already taken. Hopefully, we will be able to visit and stay again. Thank you, Joy, for your warm hospitality. Ned and Sharen

About as close to home as you can get

The condo is lovely and very thoughtfully filled with most of the comforts of home. Joy, the host, was wonderful to deal with and did her best to make our stay as good as possible. There were a few bumps in the road as we were the first renters since she had bought/upgraded the condo, but she went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The condo was very well stocked with pretty much all the necessities of home, and you could tell much of it was redone recently. It was also very quiet and peaceful. The view out the corner and the back was of the golf course, which would be green no matter what the weather. All-in-all, a lovely place to stay.We ended up having to leave early, as the elevator was malfunctioning, and my mother in her 80s was unable to navigate the stairs. Also noting for someone who has mobility issues, it is a long-ish walk down the hallway from the elevator and about the same distance walk to the car. If the elevator had not been broken, we would have happily stayed for several months.
