Wonderful family retreat for the holidays

My family spent a week at Bills condo in Deer Valley. My son flew in from college and we drove in from California. It was a week before Christmas and we were so excited to be together in the mountains and enjoy skiing together as a family. It turned out to be more special then we imagined, because the unit was clean and well maintained and certainly the best value in Deer Valley! We were pleasantly surprised at the amenities Bill has provided in the condo. We even baked Christmas cookies and didn't need to buy extra baking sheets for the baking! We had the most special time and our only regret was that we didn't stay for Christmas! We will be reserving the condo for next Christmas for sure.Thank you for being such a wonderful property owner and not misrepresenting your condo!

Honest update on our stay

We stayed at Bill’s property Feb 17-22 2020, ski week. Here is my summary for our stay. The good: Bill is a great manager and super-fast communicator. Location of the house to Deer Valley you cannot beat: 3 min walk down a small slope and 4 min ride on a shuttle (they come often). Very quiet location. House is big enough to accommodate 4 people ( 2 aduts, 2 kids): 2 levels: kitchen, living upstairs, bedroom downstairs. Great jacuzzi outside and it works great. The not-so good: house is dated: everything from furniture, to bathrooms, utensils, etc. Mattresses are very hard: kids on the scale from 1-10 are 10. Adult 8. We had to use 4 blankets to stay warm. Blankets, towels, sheets are all quite dated. Our biggest challenge were heaters downstairs in the bedrooms. With central heating system, no matter how much we tried, we could not get comfortable temps at night and morning using local heaters in bedrooms. It was either too hot, or too cold depending on when central would kick in. The entire house is carpeted and there are at least 10 area rugs all over the place. The house was very dusty and my son (who has asthma) had to take antihistamines during our entire stay. Check-in process: house check-in rule was 4pm. We arrived at 3 and cleaners just arrived. We left came back at 530 and they were still there until 6. House smelled terrible with chemicals: I mentioned to cleaners that they should use something that smells less strong. While it’s true that the house has everything in the kitchen, many pots and pans are so old that I could not fry anything without my food sticking to the skillets. My husband said, this is a true rental where the owner doesn’t stay in the house and thus everything is dates & not that nice. In places where owners stay themselves, things tend to be of better quality & condition. My price per night including everything was high given my experience. I realize that Deer Valley is expensive, even more expensive given high season of ski week. Nevertheless. The house could use some love with upgrades. I know that this property has a lot of positive ratings. I wanted to share our honest experience so that for people who share the same things of importance with us know what to expect.

The property was in a quiet neighborhood and all amenities were very good. One issue that will probably not come along again for a very long time: we had a wonderful fire in the fireplace on one evening. The following evening we lit a fire and smoke poured in. It had nothing to do with the damper, which was wide open, but rather very strong winds at the property! It was simply a weather event that day. It would be nice to put a note on the fireplace that if it is very windy outside… Do not use the fireplace! I think the winds were approximately 20 to 30 mph that day! The host had many good amenities like books, travel guides and games to play! The coffee maker, oven and instant water pot all worked very well and we definitely used them. Also, someone had left some chew bones and treats, which our fur babies absolutely loved! I should have replaced them for the next tenant, but I completely forgot. That is always a welcome surprise when you think of people who love their pets!! THANK YOU! Thank you for a wonderful, memorable stay.

Long Ski Weekend with Family

We spent 4 nights at Bill's townhouse. It was a great experience. The townhouse has plenty of room for 2 couples. One bedroom has twin beds, so be prepared. But each bedroom has its own private bath, so that worked well. Having your own hot tub was great. Nie to have a full size W/D. The location was great. Removed from the crowds, hikes and parking issues of downtown, but still close enough to be dropped off at town lift in less than 5 mins; the base in less than 10. Lots of people at the complex used the bus which picked up a short walk from the front door. Bill, the owner was an active host making sure our every need was met. Looking forward to making the trip again!

Lovely digs in a great location

The condo is very nice, with all the amenities you might want. The hot tub was amazing after a day of skiing. Bill is super responsive to any questions, and has put a lot of thought into providing a lot of extras that make it even more enjoyable. There were a few things that need fixing downstairs, but I'm sure that is a temporary condition, and Bill offset any inconvenience with a gift card for a meal, not necessary but a nice gesture. And the location could not be more convenient to downtown PC and Deer Valley.

Excellent condo near Old Town Park City

This is perhaps the best equipped ski condo we've ever stayed at. Bill has it very well equipped with everything one might need. He was very easily accessible via text or phone when we had questions - both prior to and during our stay. There's a stop for the free bus a short walk away, and from there you can get to the town, Park City and Canyons resorts, and all the way up to the Olympic Park. Very good location. I would definitely recommend this property to friends.

The place is fantastic-- very clean and well-kept and well-stocked for those who like to cook! Location is less than a mile from Deer Valley, and within a couple of miles of Park City Mnt. Resort. Bill is very responsive and friendly.

Park City Gem - Great location and excellent owner communication!

We had a fantastic stay at Bill's condo. The location can't be beat -- very close to downtown Park City and Deer Valley (our preferred ski location). The condo was well equipped with everything we needed and very comfortable. The hot tub was fantastic after a long day on the slopes. To top it off, the owner Bill is super friendly, easy to reach and a great communicator. We had a small issue where our code didn't work to access the unit, but a quick phone call to Bill got it cleared up in minutes! Hope to stay here again soon. Thanks, Bill!

First trip to Park City

Unit was exactly as advertised. Very clean, well equipped, and located conveniently between Park City and Deer Valley resorts. Bill was indeed an incredible host. He communicated ahead of arrival for a smooth check-in and asked for confirmation that everything was in acceptable order once we arrived. The hot tub was especially appreciated after a day of skiing. We hope to visit again in the future.

As Bill says, " the best innkeeper in Park City"! Townhome has everything imaginable to make your stay the best. All you need is to bring yourselves and your gear and you're ready for a great time. Great location to both Park City and Deer Valley. The extra amenities from the owner were much appreciated. The whole family loved the hot tub. No need to rent a car, we took advantage of the free city bus to and from PC. Highly recommend!

Great Time at Deer Valley

The property is in a excellent location. Steps from the shuttle for a 2 minute ride to Snow Park where you are welcomed by Deer Valley staff. The condo was exactly as depicted. Mr. Bill called me the first night to ensure we were happy with the property. He is by far the most caring and concerned owner about providing for his guest. The hot tub, grill and kitchen were better equipped then any other VRBO property I have rented in the past 10 years. Five stars to "Bill" and his well equipped home. Thanks Keith
