Located on 300 acres in Harriet, Arkansas, it's just **20 miles east of Marshall** and **16 miles west of Buffalo Point**, making it easy to find yet wonderfully secluded. The cozy cabin features three bedrooms (two queens and one full) and an adjoining apartment with another full bed. Relax on two front porches or the spacious back porch overlooking the woods, complete with a fire pit for memorable evenings under the stars. Explore miles of private trails or visit the nearby **National Buffalo River** for canoeing and kayaking.

Disclosure: Unless you are hiking down to the creek (a couple miles), 4WD vehicles or bringing your own ATV or 4 wheeler is required.

Great place to stay if you want to be away from everything. Very quiet and peaceful. We greatly enjoyed the hike to the creek, skipping rocks and searching for wild life. The Blanchard cave tour nearby was very cool.

Truly Delightful Stay

The photos in this listing do not do it justice! The property is so much more beautiful in person. There is a huge yard and the firepit was so fun! Bring your 4-wheel drive to drive down to your private shore of Big Creek - it is just a beautiful as the Buffalo River but you will be secluded from that hustle and bustle. The only downside is I did not take into consideration when I booked that one of our guests uses a walker. It was a little tricky as the cottage more historic and not handicap accessible, but we made the best of it! Liz was super friendly and helpful. She answered all my questions in a timely manner. We will be bringing our family of five down to this property in the future!
