The maisonette is located in Kythnos, a small beautifull unspoiled cycladic island of the Aegean sea, 2 hours away from Lavrio port, which is near to national airport and 3 hours from Piraeus port.
The maisonette is situated in the south part of Kythnos(Petrousa), at 30 metres altitude ,5 min from the sea. The fantastic view of the Aegean sea can be enjoyed from all rooms and balconies. It is only 20 min drive from port Merichas, 30 min drive from Chora and 5 min drive from the Agios Dimitrios village ,where you can find Greek Traditional Taverns and a bar.The maisonette is fully equipped and convinient. Calm with a traditional character is the perfect place for a family, for couples or for friends.
As you enter the house on the ground floor you will find a kitchen with a dinning table, a sitting areas with a sofa-bed, a small bath and a balcony with amazing view to the sea. Higher floor has 2 bedrooms, 1 shower bathroom and a balcony with fantastic view. There is also a ground courtyard with barbeque to enjoy your stay.
Guests have access to all facilities and to the barbeque.
When my guests will be staying in the house I'II be in the island too, happy to provide them all the info they might need and to assist them in any way I can.
The neiborhood is very quite and peacefull, ideal for relaxing holidays.

Amazing place!

It is amazing to find such a calm and beautiful house with breathtaking views in the middle of summer. The house is very well equiped and the host was very welcoming and helpful. The small beach just below the house was lovely and almost private! Crystal clear waters and two comfortable chaise longues waiting for us :-) Reaching the house from Petra took a bit longer but the dirt road was much wider and relatively easy to drive. We had a great stay and we hope to come back soon!

Une villa au calme

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour dans la villa wide sea. L’ambiance est reposante. Vous ne croiserez pas beaucoup de véhicules dans le sud de l’île. Par contre, nous vous conseillons vivement la réservation d’un véhicule 4*4 car il y a beaucoup de chemins de terre assez difficiles. Avec ce type de véhicule, vous n’aurez aucun stress. Merci encore pour votre accueil. La maison et les terrasses sont divines.

Sehr schöne Zeit

Ein sehr schönes Haus in wunderbarer Lage oberhalb von drei einsamen kleinen buchten mit wunderbarem Wasser. Die Anfahrt zum Haus führt allerdings über Schotterstraße etwa 3-4 km. (Unser auto Vermieter hatte solche Straßen allerdings für unser Auto (Kleinwagen) nicht für zulässig angegeben, wir haben es allerdings notwendigerweise trotzdem getan)Die Mutter von Andreas lebt unten in dem Haus und ist ganz besonders liebenswürdig. Wir würden auf jeden Fall da wieder hinfahren.

Très belle maison dans un environnement de rêve

Nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement par Maria, la mère d'Andreas. Elle nous avait préparé un gâteau maison. Nous avons pu lui poser toutes les questions utiles. C'est vraiment une femme charmante. L'environnement est fantastique et parfaitement calme, les vues depuis toutes les terrasses sont splendides. Impression de bout du monde, alors que vous êtes à 5 minutes en voiture d'Agios Dimitrios, petit hameau avec ses tavernes et sa belle plage, à 20 minutes de Driopida, un authentique et beau village où l'on trouve boulangeries, épiceries... 25 minutes du port de Merichas, moins de 30 minutes de Chora. Trois petites plages quasiment privées sont situées à 10 minutes à pied maximum de la maison, c'est le paradis, mais toutes les plages de Kythnos sont magnifiques. La maison est très bien conçue, très bien équipée, la cuisine dispose de tout ce qu'il faut, il y a une machine à laver... Les terrasses sont spacieuses (avec transats), il y a un barbecue à disposition et même une douche extérieure. La literie est bien ferme. La propreté était impeccable. Au final, nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances, reposantes et pleines de découvertes, Kythnos fut vraiment une belle surprise.

Quiet, peaceful, close to secluded beaches, very helpful owner!

We absolutely loved our stay. We didn't meet Andreas, but we met his mother, Maria, who was just WONDERFUL! She was so welcoming, with homemade treats for us on arrival and always available should we have any questions or need any help. (We had her phone number so we could just text with any questions.) The house is fully equipped with everything from towels to a washing machine to a fully equipped kitchen - we cooked several meals and had everything we needed. There are no shops nearby so I would recommend picking up everything you need in the port on arrival (walk in to the town and you will find several small supermarkets). Also recommend filling your car with petrol here as there aren't many petrol stations on the island. The final part of the journey to the house is on uneven roads (I'm not sure I would even call them roads, actually!) and our little hire car wasn't really up to the job (it was quite scary and we ended up not going out in the dark because of it) so I would highly recommend hiring a 4x4 or something a bit more suitable than a basic small car! The three beaches that are very close to the house are lovely - the sea was so calm that it was practically like going in a pool. Our favourite one was the one you can't quite see from the house - a 3min drive then a walk down to the beach. All of these beaches involve quite a steep walk though, so pack some sturdy shoes! We had the beach to ourselves each time we went. We would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway. It's a lovely house, in a quiet location with a super helpful owner.

fantastic house

the traditional house was perfect near beach (5 min on foot) A great view better than the photos. house is very clean with all things for cooking ,beach. ..we can use barbecue....We were welcomed warmly by the family. If you need something, the family helps you. Great journey at Kithnos. Eric and Valerie a french family
