About this property
3BR, 2BA, stunning mtn view, jacuzzi, dry sauna, fire pit, wood burning stove
Slow your life to the mountain pace high above the clouds in the rolling hills of Appalachia. Relax in the hot tub, detox in the dry sauna, lounge in the hammock with a good book, or make s'mores over a fire. Open the doors and watch the morning fog roll in over gently sloping farmland of Shinbone Valley. One hour from Chattanooga. 2 hours from Atlanta. Close to hiking trails, waterfalls, caves and mountain bike paths, unique restaurants and gorgeous wedding venues.

About the host
Hosted by Alexi weeks

33 year old, lover of animals, travel, good food and interesting stories.
I started an airbnb out of my home while living in Miami for PA school, and despite this being an academically challenging period, these were some of the best years of my life thanks to my decision to host. I'll never forget the connections made with some of the most interesting people from all over the world, some who became friends. The shared meals, late night deep conversations, exchange of cultural traditions and the deep appreciation our guests showed for the place made it worth the extra work!
It was a special period, greatly missed since graduating and moving back, and I have dreamed of being able to open up a home to host guests in again.
In September, I bought this quaint mountain home. It's a work in progress but I am ready to share it with the world! It's a special little slice of peace where you can escape from the chaos of daily life, recharge and reconnect with mother Earth.
