Hard to locate

I did have a very hard time locating the property. I had not received any contact with exact address prior to leaving on my trip. I knew the approximate area from the google image but nothing specific. I had to knock on a lot of doors before I found a someone who knew someone who might know a place that rented rooms. The person was friendly enough to actually get in his own vehicle and let me follow him to where he thought it was. We knocked on one more door and a lady pointed us to the right location where I found a phone number on a sign to contact someone who gave me the info on how to get to the room I was to be in. Other than that everything was good, location near everything one would need, owner came by to help me figure out the tv, and since I was there for 7 days he also came by after calling me, to bring fresh towels. All went well after finding the location.

When I arrived at the airport, they gave me a tough time because I didn’t have an actual address for where I was staying. - I told a taxi driver I was going to RestEasy and he shrugged me off saying, “I’m not going over there.” I was the last passenger leaving the plane, so it was me or nobody. After asking a couple drivers, one agreed to take me. It’s 25 ride. I needed to go to the ferry, which is 20, even tho it’s only “2 minutes” away. So basically if u have to go anywhere, plan on 25 a trip. - If u stay here, rent a car (70/day) or bike. Thank me later. - The area reminded me of Jamaica and Belize. If you’ve been to both, you know what I mean. I’ll just say, I’m glad I was on a solo trip instead of having a lady with me. I would’ve been apologizing for the first hour of check-in. For just me, I’m okay w/ it.- The map is misleading. I asked a local if I could walk to a beach and they said no. One guy said I could walk to one, but it’s not a good beach. I asked if there were bike rentals or golf cart, and they said no. - Inside is clean and looks pretty much like the one picture on the profile. After pulling up, I realized why there’s only one picture. Not much curb appeal. I’m glad it was daylight when I arrived. - No soap, so bring your own. - No broom to sweep. - Pack of dogs bark all thru the night...every night.- One small mirror in bathroom. I’m not upset bc it’s a clean place I could lay my head but wish I knew all the rest prior.
