Enjoy a lush green terrace and unwind on the rooftop, complete with a BBQ for grilling at sunset. Walk to the best bars, restaurants, and galleries nearby, or just relax in our thoughtfully designed space. Experience Mexico City’s creative pulse right at your doorstep.
The space:
This is a house designed with love from more than a dozen artists. It’s the first property of Call Me Lola, an artist collective that transforms spaces into immaculately curated art-centric vacation homes. This house was created with the intention of connecting travelers with the local creative culture by surrounding them with some of our favorite art from local artists, showcased in a space where attention to every detail of the design helps bring the art to life. There are amazing details in every room and whimsical surprises throughout the house.
The house itself was built in the 1920s and is protected along with a designated group of buildings as part of Mexico City's Local Heritage. It was fully renovated in 2022 and finally redesigned by our collective of artists at Call Me Lola in 2024, featuring a style that is both elegant and playful, with splashes of color everywhere.
You enter the house through a broad art deco entrance into a charming tree-and-vine-filled courtyard with a dining table for al fresco meals or co-working sessions. Our brand new chef’s kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook for groups. And our cozy living room can easily host large groups on the 7-section couch.
Two gorgeous spiral staircases take you up the center of the house to three bedrooms one floor up and to our newly renovated rooftop complete with more than a dozen plants and trees, a BBQ, a furnished pergola, and two more bedrooms.
With 3 floors, an office, a furnished roof, and outdoor and indoor dining tables — not to mention the fastest Wi-Fi available in Mexico City — the house is perfect for co-working while also having enough space to take work calls privately.
Location:
We are perfectly located in vibrant Roma Sur, within walking distance to many of CDMX’s best restaurants, bars, cafes, thrift stores, and art galleries. It’s also a moderate walk or short uber/bike ride to the nightlife of Roma Norte, while allowing you a much quieter living experience.
Distance to some local attractions:
1.1km to Parque Mexico (5 min bike ride, 17 min)
1.2km to Parque España (8 min bike; 22 min walk)
1.4km to Mercado Roma (7 min bike, 16 min walk)
1.7km to Avenida Alvaro Obregon (8 min bike, 22 min walk)
3.8 km to Anthropology Museum (18 min bike)
4 km from Chapultepec Park (18 min bike)
5.5km to palacio de bellas artes (21 min bike)
6km from zocalo (24 min bike)
8 km to Coyacan (32 min bike)
Guest access:
The entire property is yours to use! Make yourself at home. You can enter the house with keyless entry, so that you don't have to worry about coordinating your arrival with us, (or having to share keys with your group).
The place is totally private, and you'll have it all to yourself.
That said, we are always here if you have any questions about the house, Mexico City, or the art. If you want any tips, you'd like to coordinate visits to any of our featured artists/galleries, or want to hear more about the project, let us know!
