Nice older home in the hills of Layton. Close to hiking and biking trails of the Bonnevile Lake rim trail. Perfect location to do sightseeing in the Salt Lake basin. Great for a family stay.
The property was exactly like the pictures. The place was clean and well furnished. Communication with the owner was fantastic. I would definitely stay here again.
Nice clean house on the mountain side. Very quiet neighborhood and close to restaurants. We loved hanging out in the backyard and relaxing after long days of outdoor activities.
This was a family visit. The home was clean and neat. The owner is extremely communicative and wants her guests to be comfortable at all times. Our grandkids always enjoy staying there.

Our Home Away From Home
Another enjoyable visit, as usual. This is a comfy well, welcoming home and we always look forward to our visits. It is spotlessly clean when we check in and owner Holly is always very responsive if we have any needs or suggestions.
The home was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The front and backyards were a complete delight - enormous green space with flowers, birds, and fruit trees! It truly felt like an oasis right up against the hillside.

Wonderful House!
We had a wonderful time at this home! My family of six enjoyed all the space that we had during our stay. We also loved utilizing the fully stocked kitchen, bicycles, basketball hoop, and the movies and games. The owner was very sweet, and she did everything she could to make our stay comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!
The host was amazing. She kept in touch making sure everything was great. When we had an epic snowstorm 3 days in a row she arranged for the driveway to be plowed every day. We had a great time. Would definitely stay again!
This was a Christmas visit. We had snow and a large enough property to sled and make snowmen. The home is warm and comfy. Can't wait to come back again.
We enjoyed our stay in this quaint cottage. We liked that it backs up to the mountain for great privacy and loved the cozy living room with a wood burning stove. The property is easily accessible for everything in the Layton/Ogden area, including our trips to Antelope Island and Weber State. Some of the linens, towels, decor could use updating, but that is a pretty minor complaint for an otherwise very nice stay.
The property is homey, comfortable, and clean. The front and back yards are large and fun for children. The whole area is quiet. The owner is very good about responding to any questions. We'll look forward to returning in December.

Enjoyable, comfortable stay.
Our fifth stay was as enjoyable as the first. The property is homey and comfortable, stocked with pretty much everything we need. The yard is large and we had lots of fun sledding and playing in the snow with the kids. The home was sparkling clean when we checked in. Holly is always interested in our comfort and it is easy to communicate with her.

Very clean in a nice area.
Appliances need updating.
Holly was an amazing host! The location was perfect. The kitchen was very well stocked. There were plenty of towels for my family to use. The backyard had plenty of space for our children to run around. The grill was nice to have. It was nice having 2 living areas when we had family over for dinner. If we visit Layton again in the future, we would love to stay here again!

Very nice place to stay
The home was comfortable and clean. Had everything we needed for our stay (except a coffee pot:-). We were in Layton with 5 student athletes for a regional championship. Plenty of movies to watch and yard to toss a frisbee around. The WIFI connection was a little slow, but other than that the house was lovely, the kitchen was complete (we used it for every meal), and the furniture was comfortable.
Super clean and well-stocked home with room for kids to explore outside.
Thank you to Holly for having everything ready for us. We were welcomed with music, Christmas lights, candles, and chocolates! Our 3 young grandkids had great fun exploring outside, shoveling snow, and following animal tracks. The pantry was nicely stocked, and we had everything we needed. We especially appreciated the good communication from Holly. We hope to come again.

About the host
Hosted by Holly
I am a retired special education teacher and now enjoying time with my children and grandchildren. I enjoy out door activities and friendships. I have recently been involved in a treatment center for at-risk youth. I enjoyed that opportunity very much. I continue to look for opportunities to help struggling youth and parents while helping my children raise their children.
Why they chose this property
This home is my family home where I raised my sons. We love this home and we are happy to share it with people who enjoy the out of doors and the serene nature of the home.
What makes this property unique
This home is quiet, next to the mountains, great neighbors, and offers a feeling a serenity all around the home and on the inside. It is located against the mountain with great hiking, yet close to shopping, entertainment, and skiing.
