Outstanding views!

This condo is large, very clean, and beds are very comfortable. Loved the kitchen, it has everything you need. The balcony is large and the view is spectacular. You are literally steps from the ocean. Enjoyed having coffee and watching the dolphins swimming by. Great place!

Consistently Top Notch

We’ve been coming to Trillium for years; we come 2x a year, and it only seems to get better with time! 5C is our favorite because there’s no one above you and the kitchen is very nice. The view is priceless from the extra large balcony, perfect for morning dolphin watching and nightly sunsets over the Gulf. The pool is well maintained and the water is very nicely heated. The location is primo. This is our second home. We’ll be back in April. See you soon!

Wonderful Spring Break Vacation

We had a wonderful stay at 5C recently for Spring Break! Six of us comfortably stayed in the condo. My in laws were very pleased that it is a smaller complex which particularly made parking much easier. The condo itself was very well maintained and equipped. The views are spectacular. I don’t think a day went by that we didn’t see 3 to 15 dolphins swimming close by. It’s less than a mile walk to John’s Pass. There are several great local eats along the way too - including Candy Kitchen (yum). We loved it so much that we tried to book it for next year but it’s already taken. We highly recommend this unit. You won’t be disappointed.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property is within a 10 mile radius of all the food and drinks you could want. There was a small beach umbrella, 2 beach chairs and 2 beach loungers provided. There were some cleanliness issues that need to be addressed, however, overall the condo was in good condition. There is only 1 parking place per unit!! The lobby, elevators, and hallways need to be updated to match the level of the condo unit.

Maderia Spring 2023 stay

The previous comments re this property mentioned cleanliness issues and I will admit there was some with us as well, hair in the shower, not clean linens, etc. The unit was not completely unclean. Definitely details that could easily be remedied. We were pleased that there were some beach chairs as we flew to this destination. We purchased umbrellas and beach games and left those behind for future guests. We love the unit as we have stayed at the location previously but different unit. Very close to many walkable eateries, shopping, coffee and entertainment. The management company was very kind. I do wish that there were not keys to keep up with and more codes. It makes it difficult when not all of the party is coming in/up at one time. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

"our happy place" was a lot less happy this recent stay; disappointed

We've been staying at 5C for years now and it seems like our recent stay had several major things that did not meet our expectations: First of all, the unit next door was moving out, taking up most of the hallway and elevators for our move upon check-in. The next TWO days were filled with jack hammering. When we finally spoke to someone in management, they told it was something they could help us with, that they don't always know about what is happening in other units. I would have thought five years of back to back stays would have equated to finding a solution, even relocating us to a different property but there was really no help there. Management kept on saying it was for one day, but we clearly heard it two days, plus ongoing hammering and construction throughout out stay. Not only this but cleanliness was lacking during our latest stay. We found a few LARGE cockroaches on the floor and the pool was less well maintained than it had been in previous stays. There was also additional construction outside of the building as well that added to the noise while we were at the pool. I am seriously second guessing staying with this rental group in the near future.

Third time visiting Trillium

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 3rd visit to Trillium and our 10th visit to the St Pete's area. It was nice to be back. We were postponed twice (Covid and construction) in the past 3 years. It was nice to see Madeira had not changed much although we missed the Brown Boxer restaurant.We had booked the unit several years before as we were hosting friends who had previously hosted us. We all were impressed with the location, in particular the view.The first day, we booked our 4 beach chairs and 2 umbrellas with "Joey". We had rented several times in the past from him. I remembered his favorite scotch so he looked after us very well. We were thankful we had our beach chairs as not once could we use the Trillium's pool or lounge chairs. The area was always occupied with kids and parents. We knew the pool area was not large but it was just taken over by other guests.Further, their seemed to be "tension" or an unwelcome attitude by some of the permanent residents. One told us point blank that she did not like our beach chairs and umbrellas taking up space of "their beach". One of our guests is a lawyer and politely explained about the high water mark! She gave us "the look" the rest of the time. Another issue was parking. We had been advised by RR staff that the permanent residents did not want "visitors" using visitor spaces (there were at least 6)! We needed an extra space. We took care of it in our own way but it goes to the first point about not feeling welcome. Maybe it was the time of year (late Easter)? But decide if you are in the vacation business or not!My wife was surprised there was no bed linens or towels changed at the end of the 1st week. The washing machine was small so it took several loads to clean. There was no unit cleaning either. We have rented elsewhere where these services were provided.We noticed the prices for 2023 have increased over 50 % so we will look at other alternatives. But we love Madeira Beach.

The beach chairs and bags in closet were great!!! Something we didn’t have to buy. Family rented 1st floor and saw two other units, 5C by far was the nicest.

The designated parking spaces were great because you never had to worry about getting a spot to park, It was well equipped with everything you needed. The icemaker was frozen up. There is no place to store your groceries in the kitchen. I recommend 4A and 4C, not 5C in this building. I've stayed at the Trillium for over 30 years and 5C was a disappointment. Location and view are perfect.

Wonderful location & property

This condo is amazing. Perfect layout & perfect location. I give it 4.8 stars out of 5. Like others leaving reviews, the use of keys to get in & out of the beach area, the lobby and the condo is quite cumbersome...especially since every person in our party needs a set of keys. Also, the owners closet is lacking. Would be nice to have some beach towels and a cooler. Other than that, the condo was perfect. We'll definitely visit again!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was very pretty and beds were comfortable. Toilet in guest bathroom was very hard to flush. Rugs were dirty and all furniture needs a GOOD scrubbing, it smells like feet. One of our keys didn't work to open the condo. The smell and dead fish laying all over the beach was disgusting. It ruined two whole days and of beach time. Where was the tractor and rake to pick the fish up? They should have been taking that beach EVERY DAY. I won't be back as I never want to encounter red tide/dead fish again and I hear it is quite prevalent in this area.
