We loved our stay at Fawnwood! Lindsay was an amazing host with detailed instructions, friendly and professional communication, as well as some awesome recommendations around Elijay. The location was perfect for our fall getaway to the apple orchards. The cabin had everything we needed making our stay seamless and comfortable. Our family enjoyed seeing all of the wildlife! We would gladly stay here again!

Very cute place! We loved feeding the deer and hiking on the nearby trail. I thought we’d be near the creek, based on the photos, but we weren’t. Otherwise, everything was great.

The property is located close enough to Ellijay and all of its attractions and yet while there it feels like you are far away and in a different world. The location is serene and peaceful and the highlight is the daily visits by the deer looking for us to provide a little feed corn.

Amazing cabin! The amenities such as the fishing ponds, pickle ball court, swimming pool, etc. just add to how great it is. It’s so fun to feed the deer right beside the cabin. The cabin was also beautifully decorated!

This is a lovely property and exactly as advertised in the pictures. The communication from the host needed a 6th star for the 5 star review - so kind and helpful. The hot tub was very nice, the beds were comfy, we saw so much wildlife and appreciated that the mountain roads were paved. Lovely weekend!

This house was amazing, and the owner was incredibly helpful with questions we had and suggestions about the area. My granddaughter loved feeding the deer and there was plenty of corn that the owner supplied for us to use. Overall, it was an awesome time spent with family at this lovely home!

Lovely Mountain Retreat

Our group of four adults and three young children had the most relaxing stay here. The house was exactly as pictured and Lindsay was so welcoming and communicative! The kids loved all of the extra fun touches (craft kits, play teepee, block tower) and especially feeding the deer every day! It was an easy drive to several waterfalls in the area and downtown Ellijay.

Perfect Family Getaway!

We came up here to do a family trip for Father’s Day, and it was the most magical and wonderful experience! From the cozy furnishings, to the amazing game room downstairs, and the deer feeding opportunities that the owners have all setup at the cabin makes it truly wonderful.We even changed our plans to spend more time there! But when we did go out it was a hop, skip, and jump to Town, and only 30 minutes to Amaicola Falls. The kids even asked if we could stay here every time we come, and I’m honestly thinking we will!

We confirmed with the Walnut Mountain HOA that there was water line work near our home, which temporarily caused the water to appear murky. Our cleaners were not aware of this work at the time. The water had just been changed and treated. Regarding the notification, this is something that must be manually reset, and our cleaners did not reset it after changing the water. We take hot tub maintenance very seriously and always service and treat before each turnover. We apologize that, due to the nearby water line repairs, it appeared otherwise and the water was murky during your stay.

Our family loved our stay at Fawnwood. The deer showed up daily to say hi and hang out. We even had a turkey show up a day or two. Great space and excellent location. We were in town for a baseball tournament and most of the parks we played at were not close, but we didn't mind knowing we had a great place to return to and relax. Lindsay was great to communicate with and provided all needed codes for gates and doors with no issues. Our family highly recommends this property.
