Great condo overall

This was a great community and location. It is not close to any restaurants or shops so keep that in mind (it didn't bother us). The unit was clean and comfy...both bathrooms could use some renovations. The complex was nice and the pool was big and easy to get to! It made us sad that a big part of the boardwalk was torn out due to storm damage. Would stay here again!

There was very little closet space and almost no hangers The owners have locked the larger closet. A small chair would be nice for that room too. The dishes and cups and glasses were barely adequate. We will not stay in that unit again.

The kitchen is a small galley, very well equipped and clean.The whole condo could have used a super clean...floors were still a little Sandy and bathrooms shower had some mold.Light bulbs were missing and didn’t match. Owner had two closets locked and yet the master closet was packed with chairs, toys etc. unsightly.All in all I would rent this again...these views are unsurpassed and being soo near the ocean for sound and breezes is lovely.Really easy checkin and out!

Needs major improvements

The appearance of the unit was ok however there was a terrible smell of mold and must particularly coming from the 2nd bedroom. We called the property manager and they brought us an ionizer, but it did not help. The children couldn't bare to sleep there, they had to sleep on the sofas. The rugs through out the unit were all old and worn and need to be replaced. Bathrooms were dated and need some updating. Kitchen was lacking. Dishes were all mismatched and chipped. Pots and pans worn out. The resort was quite nice. Beautiful landscaping. Board walk was beautiful. Beach was perfect, calm and clear. I would return to this property but definitely a different unit!

Furniture shown is not what’s there! False advertisement!

We booked our reservation for 6 people based on pictures displayed on the VRBO app. The furniture was all different and a lot less. False advertisement led to 6 people booking a condo that was not suitable for 6 people. It has since been updated to accommodate 4.. There were 3 chairs missing, leading to lack of seating in the living room. Spare bedroom had no streaming access at all and no cable. It couldn’t even get antenna channels. The pictures show a tv, assuming it would work, but that was false. The sleeper sofa advertised was not there. The furniture was a couch that had two recliners. No sleeper sofa. There was no broom or vacuum. A guest of ours slept on the hard tile floor for THREE nights. The rental office did buy a blow up mattress for the inconvenience, but again, that’s not what we paid for. Completely dissatisfied with the condo, the lack of supplies needed for a basic stay (there was no pizza cutter, the kitchen knives were extremely dull & dangerous, also replaced midway through our stay), and the lack of caring of us spending a lot of money for this trip. The area and property is super nice. People are friendly. It’s very quiet. The sunsets are amazing and breathtaking and the beach is relaxing and clean. But when you reserve a condo, it may be best to follow up to be sure the pictures shown are actually what’s in the unit! We had other units saved and chose this one based on pictures. This one caused a headache and frustration. Super disappointing.

Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Land's End for quite a number of years and this is by far the worst experience we have had.Here is a list of things that were incorrect either from the time we arrived to while we were thereUpon our arrival , none of the 3 TV's were working in the unit. We received a visit to get this repaired. 2 were done and we learned later that this TV was to be used for DVD's except there no DVD's available.There are no serving platters, no wine glasses, no dessert dishes, no cleaning mop, missing bulbs in the light fixture.One of the toilets kept running occasionallyOne of the burners in the stove did not work.Drawer in the stove was quite dirty Fan in the bathroom sounded like an airplane motor and later stopped working altogetherDryer stopped working halfway during our stay.Shower was quite mouldy.Curtain rod in master bedroom fell off when closing curtains as it was not properly installed.Panel on ceiling in master bathroom was hanging loose as half of the screws were missing.This is a property that is not exactly cheap to rent and one would expect the unit to be in good condition with. We are very disappointed and it will likely be the last time we stay at Land's end, and certainly not in this unit.

We discovered when we were going to bed that it had not been changed and the unit overall had not been cleaned. However I called the emergency number the next day and they had someone over within two hours who did a great job cleaning around our stuff. Same with a plumbing issue-on site the next day and issue fixed. Very responsive. There was a nice grassy area on which the kids could play. Pool was great.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have rented in area for over 25 years. I have never been so disappointed in a condo. This particular unit was very outdated. I can live with outdated, but in was not well-stocked. The furniture was uncomfortable and the master bedroom did not have a proper mattress. In addition, it was scantily stocked: 5 towels, 6 forks, 6 spoons and what pots and pans there were, they were dirty, rusty and worn. The coffeepot did not match the coffee-maker, so it wouldn't drain. You had to be creative to cook a meal with what was provided. The property and grounds were wonderful, safe and quiet. We would stay there again, but NOT in this unit.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Lands End 3 times. We love the area, the beach and the boardwalk. We also walk around the neighborhood. The condo was nice and it was very clean. However, this condo is in need of a deep cleaning especially the area rugs. The kitchen needs to be upgraded in the kitchenware. The plates are chipped and we had to wash after each meal because there were not enough dishes or silverware. There were no small plates and nothing matched. The stove top on the right was very slow to heat and the oven temperature control was hard to set. The toaster needs to be replaced. It smoked and we had to clean out the tray and the heating control did not seem to work. The other two times we stayed here the condos were excellent. We paid the same price each time but this condo did not meet the standard of the other two for the same price.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location (on the beach with sunset views) was really the only plus here. The place was not clean when we got there (caked in dirt on kitchen counter and bathroom had clearly been used and not re-cleaned, floor throughout was sticky and dirty). The living room furniture was acceptable and the size of the condo was good, but the limited kitchen supplies was frustrating and the lack of cleanliness was definitely to be desired. Be prepared to do lots of dishes between meals since there's barely enough for one occasion. The property company seemed pleasant enough and the location was very nice (clean beaches, good security). Although the hot tub was very loud when jets were on and the jets were almost non-existent (place had another hot tub that was apparently closed all year). For the right price, it would be worth staying here but definitely not at full price. The grounds and the pool area were fantastic.

Unit has nice decorations but is a little worn; however it was not totally clean upon arrival. Floors were dirty (we had to clean them ourselves by hand) and the area rugs were filthy. The unit smelled of cigarette smoke. Had to get a deionizer from the rental company to attempt to remove the smell; it worked some but the smell was still there. Not what I paid for.

Needs some updates.

We love Land’s End and would recommend the complex. This is our 4th time renting there. And plan to go back. This unit does need some updates for the price. The view is amazing. However we found the beds to be uncomfortable and the kitchen under stocked. I also think that for this price, beach towels are a must. When traveling, the last thing you want to pack is a towel for the beach. Finally, I would recommend doing some of the small repairs that are needed.
