All the comforts of (a Japanese) home. Gadgets for every thing. Robo-toilet. Fast clothes washer (drying was slow but effective). Spent considerable time trying to figure out Japanese instructions for all the machines and gadgets, even with Google translating. Once understood, they worked well. Main drawback was access. The small elevator does not stop directly on any floor, but only halfway between floors. The narrow spiral stairs must be negotiated at the ground level and on reaching your floor. Not easy with heavy luggage.Staff presence wis only part-time, so if help is needed, it must be arranged in advance. On the other hand, the neighborhood offers the ultimate in urban living, with shops and restaurants in profusion, subway and regional rail within blocks.
