Fabulous place to stay! Off the beaten path but close enough to get anywhere you want. Very clean, quaint cabin. Hosts were fabulous. Available for anything we needed but not at all intrusive. Beautiful property. Thank you for having us!

Lovely Cabin

Had a wonderful time staying at this cabin. We enjoyed coffee in the morning on the front porch and relaxed there in the evening. Our hosts, Donna and Rob were very friendly and provided everything we could need and more. They thought of everything to make our stay very comfortable.

The owners met us at check-in and showed us all the properties assets which were numerous!! Super clean, well stocked. Breakfast was in the frig. We’ve stayed at many VRBO properties and never seen that. This is a perfect hill country hideaway.

Quiet luxury

The cabin is a private getaway with everything you need and more. From the luxurious linens to the fully decked out kitchen to the breakfast provided, the conscientious owners thoughtfully ensured that our stay was perfect. And we got to bring our dogs!

Tranquil Luxury

Donna & Rob are gracious hosts who share this beautiful place. The cabin is beautifully decorated and is very comfortable. The breakfast items are a nice treat. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the wildlife. The cabin is a short drive from Boerne and the Guadalupe State Park. We will definitely stay here again.

Hill Country Retreat

This cabin is perfect for families with young kids. Very comfortable rooms and plenty of space to run outside in a gated area. Owners are responsive and attentive. The kitchen is generously stocked with high quality breakfast items. Location is a short drive from Natural Bridges Cavern and beautiful Guadalupe River State Park. Our Cabin stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at the cabin and wish we could’ve stayed longer. It’s the perfect distance to be out in the woods, yet 15 mins from everything you would want to do in the city. It was very well kept and The Naylor’s provided essentials and even provided materials to enjoy a delicious breakfast. They catered to our family and even brought out a cornhole game for entertainment. The wildlife was incredible, and their dogs are precious! We can’t wait to come back again.

Perfection

I cannot compliment this property and the hosts enough! We were so comfortable and staying at the cabin was the best vacation. We enjoyed the deer and we have never seen so many cardinals and hummingbirds. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was exceptionally well stocked and organized. The decor was tasteful and beautiful. I’m grateful for hosts like these who take time and effort to accommodate travelers.

Great Girls' Weekend Stay

Living in the city, we love to get away from it all and usually pick a country destination. This was the perfect place for that. It was a girls' weekend celebrating my mom's 70th birthday. We wanted to do some shopping in the different Hill Country towns and have a little R&R too. We were able to do all that during our stay. Donna, the owner, could not have been more hospitable. The cabin had everything we needed and was very tastefully decorated. We loved our time there and would highly recommended it.

Top rate stay. Very Nice Owners, very nice well kept cabin, has extra nice furniture and bedding.

My family enjoyed the little cabin in the hill country. It was so nice to be able to be right next to the wedding venue and not worry about a long ride home after such a lovely night. The short 10 mile trip to Boerne to do some shopping made it a little vacation as well. We enjoyed the cinnamon rolls and eggs before we did our shopping it was great. My children loved the furniture and bedding and the smell of the cabin was so nice. I loved the sounds of the Katydid at night and the morning coffee on the swing. Donna and Rod were very nice host and if we need a place to stay again in the area it will be here at the Cozy Cabin in the Texas Hill Country Thank you Phyllis

Wonderful Stay and Beautiful Cabin

First, let me say what a great experience dealing with and meeting Donna and Rob was. They were great and made us feel "at home" right from the start. The moment we walked into the cabin, we were so impressed with the beautiful furnishings, the cleanliness of the home and the great smells throughout the cabin. Everything you can think of is provided throughout the house, the kitchen if fully stocked, Donna even provided some breakfast items for us, which we enjoyed and appreciated. The bathrooms were very clean and towels are so very soft. Then, there are the super comfortable beds, which allowed for great nights sleep. We enjoyed our coffee on the porch swing each morning, just relaxed and enjoyed the nature around the cabin. The cabin was conveniently located for our needs, an easy drive to San Antonio and to the Hill Country. The only downfall of our stay, was that we couldn't stay longer. I HIGHLY recommend this cabin, not only to enjoy its ammentities but to have the opportunity to meet two great people, Donna and Rob.

About the host

My husband and I have lived in San Antonio for 30+ years. We both retired here from military family backgrounds. We have always dreamed of owning and operating a bed and breakfast/rental property. This location was perfect and just the right amount of land to enjoy the hill country, abundant wildlife and relaxing lifestyle.
We are excited to recently acquire the "Guthrie Meadow Honey Bees" to our property. We are excited to become "beekeepers" and help support our pollinators with an variety of pollen from our surrounding areas. These are friendly Italian Honey bees and their primary function is to gather pollen. We look forward to collecting their honey next year! We love to fish, hike, kayak and take weekend road trips!

It is easy to see why we love this property, it offers a beautiful view of the hill country. There is an abundant display of wildlife as you sit on the porch and watch a variety of birds/finches/woodpeckers and dove and wild turkey, deer and much more. The sunsets are the most enjoyable, especially this time of year when the weather is cooler.
