It was great for a family with teenagers who want their own room. The hot tub was used extensively. The layout is great and very modern. Parking is an issue. If you bring ski stuff like us you rent a large SUV which means you are parking on the street. It can be tough to find a spot. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would rent again especially if we have a normal sized car.
The layout of the home was great. We loved having the space to spread out and that we each had our own bathroom. The hot tub could only fit 4 people and we wished all 6 of us could go in at once but it was still a great amenity to have.
Our favorite thing about this home was the view of the 3 Sisters from the master bedroom porch. Very clean, great location, it is a moderate walk to the main street but very doable. Easy walk to coffee and some restaurants. The house is 4 stories - first level is garage, kitchen/den on second floor, 2 bedrooms on 3rd and master on 4th. I only include that in case someone staying there has mobility issues. Overall, excellent home!
Fantastic house in a great, central location. Very clean and cozy. Love how each bedroom has its own bathroom. Kitchen is well-stocked w/ utensils, pans, etc. for basic cooking/baking. Bathrooms well-stocked w/ toiletries. Within walking distance to downtown Canmore and great restaurants and shopping. Only caveat: if you are driving anything larger than a standard minivan, your vehicle will not fit in the garage. Pretty sure my personal larger crossover (VW Atlas) would not have fit. Our rental (Chrysler Pacifica) fit w/ very little spare room and required 1 - 2 pullups/backups to get at the right angle to park. Would definitely stay here again.
We stayed in this property for four days over Spring Break while we were skiing in the area. We were a mixed family group of adults, teens, and tweens. The property was simply beautiful. The location was ideal for us. Anything that we wanted to see or do was within a 20 minute walk in Canmore, which we relished as the whole town is so beautiful. The private hot tub was a joy to use and really enhanced the stay. The unit still seems brand new and was beautifully appointed in all respects. We couldn't have asked for more. A couple of things to note for those considering a future stay here. The unit has a lot of stairs, 4 levels and three sets of stairs, with the primary suite and balcony/hot tub on the top floor. This wasn't an issue for us but it could be for anyone with mobility issues or even seniors. Also, the complex is located directly beside the Trans Canada Railway which is active all times of the day. Again, not an issue for us as the unit seemed to be very well soundproofed and we didn't really notice the trains after the first day. But, I don't recall having seen that mentioned anywhere in the reviews of this property. Finally, the garage is awesome to have, but our vehicle, a full sized pickup truck that we rented to carry all of our skis and gear, did not fit in it. So, we had to find parking elsewhere during our stay which can be a challenge in Canmore in general. All in all, this was an exceptional stay and we would 100% stay there again.
