About this property
Stylish, Newly-built 2-bedroom guesthouse in Easthampton. Clean + Light Filled
Kick back in this clean, stylish space bathed in natural light! Newly built detached dwelling, made to host. 1mi to center Easthampton and 5mi to Northampton. backyard/ deck are private. Separate driveway. Well stocked full kitchen. tall ceilings, cotton sheets, quiet neighborhood. Plenty of work space. Heated tile in bathroom! Incredible morning sun on the deck and inside. Wood-fired pizza oven and fire pit out back (subject to seasonal fire bans). Not for parties or loud late nights.
The Sage House is an accessory building in the backyard of our 1/2 acre lot. it has its own driveway and sits 100 ft from our house. There is a private backyard that is connected to our own backyard via a narrow strech of grass but is shielded by some trees and another building. This area is reserved for the guests. The unit sits on a quiet residential street. Our property has lots of trees, a vegetable garden as well as fruit bushes and trees. Between May and October we will be happy to share things we have in excess, like tomatoes in summer, peaches in late summer/fall, raspberries, cucumbers, squash etc.
Below the guesthouse is a workshop that may be in use on weekdays between 9am-5pm. On weekends we may be in and out of the shop to grab something.
Guests have total private use of the guesthouse which is the 2nd story of the detached building. There is one parking space directly in front of the bright yellow entry door (house number 13A is boldly marked next to the door). If needed extra parking is available on the street which receives minimal traffic and is very wide.
Guests will access the unit using a keypad and can enter via the interior stairs via the bright yellow door, or via the deck stairs at the back of the unit.
The guesthouse has its own private backyard space that is separate but unfenced. The space below the guesthouse is a workshop that guests do not have access to. Guests do not have access to our private backyard which will be marked with a sign, but we're happy to say hello and show you around if you'd like.
You will see us around the property working in the shop below, or outside or playing with our 3.5 yr old in the yard, but we will give you your space and there is plenty of room for you to be outside and not interact with us if you choose. If you care to say Hi, we will be happy to introduce ourselves and show you our gardens and share anything that may be growing in season (anything from parsley to flowers to raspberries, tomatoes, greens, peppers etc).
Must climb 14 stairs to enter building, not wheelchair accessible.
There will often be a white work van parked on the left side of the guest house driveway, it will not impact your ability to park and unload .
