Have the best of both at this beautiful and conveniently located Outer Banks vacation home... a private pool and really easy beach access! "Point of Views" is oceanside in a favorite Nags Head neighborhood near Jockey's Ridge called Old Nags Head Place.

Enjoy the spaciousness and comfort of five bedrooms, four and a half baths, great room, tower room, rec room, multiple decks, covered patio, and fenced-in private pool area. Old Nags Head Place is a nice community with quiet streets, great for bike riding and walking to spots like Nags Head Fishing Pier for breakfast, Tortuga's for lunch or dinner and Snowbird for an ice cream cone in the evening, not to mention the beautiful Outer Banks beaches.

Outdoor amenities at "Point of Views" include: fenced-in private pool area with patio bar area, hot tub, covered patio with gas grill, sun and shade decks, poolside and deck furnishings for dining and lounging, picnic table, beach chairs, and covered parking.

Indoor amenities at "Point of Views" include: whirlpool tub, rec room with pool table and full-size refrigerator, TVs, DVD players, WiFi, stereo system, books and board games. Enjoy extras around the house, too, like having a griddle and ice cream maker in the kitchen.

Point of View is oceanside between the roads in Nags Head. Guests will walk just a block to cross the 2 lane Beach Road to access the ocean.

No pets allowed. No smoking/vaping. Fireplace not available for guest use. Please refer to the Rental Agreement while reviewing Rules & Policies for pool opening/closing dates.

Wonderful Venue for Making Memories

Our stay exceeded all our expectations. We particularly enjoyed the options for seating—whether enjoying mealtime, tv, games, or quiet “me time.” The bedrooms were beautifully positioned for privacy, and the kitchen was amply supplied with dishes and cooking utensils . The decor had a soothing beach vibe. In all, it was the perfect venue for memory-making!

If you don't mind dirt, run down and cheap then you won't mind the condition of this place. Not only was this place dirty there was a giant hair ball in toilet when we arrived, mold on shower curtain, hair and sand on sheets, paint peeling of wall in bedroom, many stains on carpet, a pool table that looks like it was drug out of someone's garbage, pots that were down to bare metal, and honestly I could keep going. I spent the first 2 days cleaning with what I had. Not my idea of a vacation. Will never be returning and would not recommend.

As I mentioned, our staff is always available to come back out and do whatever we can help with, to make your stay a little more enjoyable even after you check in. I am glad to see we were able to issue the refund of your cleaning fee as agreed upon. Beautiful house and super close to the beach. Absolutely no complaints about the house, however, I inquired about whether the house had baby items and was told it did not, so I lugged my pack n play and high chair the whole way, just to find both things were, in fact, available at the house. We had such a great time and loved this house. Super clean and homey.

Nice house but poor on extras.

Beautiful home within close walking distance to ocean beach access. There is one pyramid-bunk bedroom on lower level, 3 bedrooms on mid-level including the master king suite, a queen bedroom and a bedroom with 2 twin beds. And then a king bedroom on upper level where the kitchen and main living room is. There was laundry on mid- level. The WiFi didn't work in the upper king bedroom or the queen bedroom which were both on the far west side of the house. This house had very little extras in it. There was very minimal supplies such as: limited toilet paper, no extra trash liner bags, limited towels and not even a hand towel for some of the bathrooms. The kitchen was fairly well supplied but had no hot-pads and only one kitchen towel. We had to go to the store to get extra supplies that we felt should have been provided. Also, we were not real happy about the cleaning of the house before we arrived. The floors were dirty especially under the rugs and furniture and, although it was a pet-free house, there was clearly pet hair on the floors. The trash in one of the bathrooms hadn't been emptied from the previous renters. The vacuum cleaner had no bag in it so we weren't able to use it as it just threw all the dirt back out. There were several areas in the ceiling of the upper level that showed evidence of a previous water leak in the roof but we had no leaking when we were there and had plenty of rain that could have potentially caused a problem but didn't so the roof has probably been repaired but not the ceilings. We also had two curbside garbage pails instead of one garbage and one recycling pail. To be fair, we never contacted Village Reality with any of our complaints other than the fact that both of the propane tanks for the outdoor gas grill were empty and they were very good about replacing them in a timely manner. But we have stayed in other rental homes before and have had much more "extras" that we would have expected in this rental as well for the amount of money that we spent. For those of us that were flying, we couldn't possibly have brought the necessary supplies for this house. We still enjoyed our stay. There was a pool table in lower level and a relatively small outdoor pool and a hot tub which was nice since there was a "no swimming" alert at the beach due to high winds and waves. (Unfortunately, our stay was the week between hurricane Harvey and hurricane Irma so the weather was tropical-storm conditions that week.)
