We love Roxy Rentals! We have stayed at multiple properties and are never disappointed. The Muse was amazing. Great location and right next to amazing trails and restaurants. Will definitely stay again!

Modern Muse

As a regular renter in Minneapolis each fall, I am especially appreciative of a great host, and Roxy Rentals properties are unmatched. This year we stayed at the Modern Muse house. The location cannot be beat for the activities and friends we see during our stay. The house itself offers a light and open modern feel, and with fall playing out just beyond the windows we were offered a spectacular view. The layout of Modern Muse allowed my husband and I to enjoy different activities (Watching football? World Series? Basketball?) while seeking the quiet to read a book. Our stay was spectacular, thank you. Janine had asked me to think of ways that the property could be improved. The only things I could come up with: the dishwasher doesn’t seem to clean very well. It may be the installation (it is not leveled, and is imbalanced within the counter space) but I had to handwashing the dishes after each load. I purchased a stronger detergent and it seemed to help a bit. Dare I say that there are too many pillows? HA! I am a designer (retired) and while I love a good pillow, they are a pain. They end up being piled up in a corner for the duration of our stay. The bedding is lovely and the beds comfortable … all that matters!! Last, and I mentioned this to Janine. The lock box. It is so cumbersome. Could you use it for the initial entry but offer two keys? My husband and I are rarely together, often coming and going at different times. Two keys would remove the frustration of having to leave the lockbox for one another every time we leave the house. Outside of that everything was wonderful. Thank you for making our annual pilgrimage “home” to Minneapolis a lovely one. We are forever fans!!
