One of the best stocked rentals we’ve stayed in! It is so incredibly convenient to get to the base of the mountain to ski. 10/10 recommend

**Renter beware!** this property is listed as ski in/out however this is not the case! The nearest ski lift is over a creek with a raggedy/ratchet bridge that leads to a path that requires you to walk up hill with your gear the length of a football field. The other option, per owner, is to walk to parking lot, again long distance, and wait for a shuttle. Neither option is ski in/out!!! I asked ski patrol if they were aware on how to ski back to house and he said those properties are not a ski in/out property. The cost of property will reflect a ski in/out but it’s definitely NOT! So if you’re looking to lace the boots and hop onto a slope, this one is not for you! However, the property is clean, fully stocked and owner was responsive and cordial.
We loved the home. Wide open living area. Great for cooking and eating in. Nice layout for quiet time in the upstairs den and bedrooms. Small but efficient gas grill. The young folks loved the hot tub. We had a fabulous dinner at Michelangelo's. They accommodated our party of 9 in a lovely semi private room off the main dining room and the food was wonderful!
The house was everything we expected and it worked out great for our skiing at Big Sky. The layout of the rooms, kitchen area, and living area was perfect for our stay. We cooked in, and the kitchen set up was excellent to support us. The great as the accommodations were, the support we received was outstanding. Our contacts with the management agent was timely and accurate and really helped make our stay extremely comfortable. I would highly recommend this place to others wanting to enjoy the Big Sky area...I would like to come back in the Spring to enjoy the area as well.
Our trip was cut short due to the corona virus. We stayed 3 nights as Big Sky closed down one day after our arrival.
This home is so nice. All the amenties. Hot Tub was perfect and the views are magnificent. We will definitely come back and hopefully stay at Julian's home again. Julian was very responsive to all of our questions and extremely understanding when we were forced to leave early.
Home was very clean. Plenty of towels and linens for us.
Very close to ski hill. I did do the ski in on the one day we were able to ski and was able to get right up to garage door! Really ski in. Did not try the ski out. We dropped off people at mountain base. Everyone so helpful and friendly. Feel terrible for the resorts and employees during this difficult time.
Thank
Items that was to be furnished was not for a house of 8ppl for 8 days. Each bathroom was left w 1/2 rolls of toletpaper. BYOWR (bring your own wash rags, they have none) There was only expresso coffee pods, not coffee grounds to make a big pot for 8 ppl. House Mgt Co was quick to respond to several request (paper towels, tolet paper, laundry detergent) and questions. Hardest part was the stove/oven. They knew gas stove was broken and a repair was scheduled but not until after our stay. We had 2 burners that worked and had to light the gas burners w a lighter, we had to throw the breaker one night to turn off the oven. The master bedroom mattress is a bowl and needs repl. Sleeping on the floor was better. Skiing was great and was the true reason for the trip. We adapted and dealt with what we ran into. Owner was responsive and communicated well when we brought these issues to their attention. Over all this house is a great space for 8 adults. The wild fox that came to our window a couple times a day was a joy to see and watch. He was curious one night and snuck up to the hot tub while we were in it. He was literly a foot away from us. Needless to say, we all sat very still, then he walked away.
Great home. Good and comprehensive communication from the owner before we arrived. Property management was prompt in responding to our request for firestarters, everything else was as described and worked fine. Ski out was a bit of a hike but I'm in my 60's and did it everyday. Ski in was easy. Would definitely stay here again.
Hey Julian, we had a great time at your place. You may want to swap property management companies though. There were no trash bags, wash rags, paper towels, laundry detergent, fire starters, tv picture was messed up, remotes didn’t work, and many light bulbs were out.
We would definitely come and stay again and I’m only telling you this to help you, thanks!
Nice home in a convenient location. Ski in was a breeze, little hike to ski out. Comfortable for two families including 4 teenage boys. Appreciated the toiletries, soap, DW detergent, trash bags, laundry detergent. Sleds and hot tubs were enjoyable too! Would recommend this home for ski vacation!!
This is a really nice property and is spacious and well described in the explanation. There is a beautiful outside porch, which unfortunately has no furniture to sit outside and enjoy the amazing views.
We stayed for a week in late July. Great home for families. Downstairs bedroom and bathroom for our parents and upstairs rooms for us an the kids. The home was clean and very well equipped. It had everything we needed in the kitchen. Nice quiet location at night. The owner's were very responsive when we had a question. We would definitely rent again.

We stayed in the summer to visit Yellowstone. The owner of cabin was very helpful and went out of their way to answer our questions and assist as needed. Cabin was very clean and exactly what was described. Very nice neighborhood with plenty of wildlife and hiking trails out the back door. Great summer rental.
Great house setup and location for a group of 7-10 to enjoy comfortably. Mountain access is about a 15-20 minute trek whether you drive or walk/push to the closest base-transport lift. Town is an easy 10-12 minute drive down the hill. Overall, great experience. If I come back to big sky I will look to stay here.
Loved our stay at the house, owner very attentive for issue with hot tub.The ski out was a little bit challenging but ski in was easy.Overall great how and definitely want to come back!!!
We had a great trip, the house was clean and in great shape. There was plenty of room for all 10 of us. The ski in was a little tricky but the teenagers figures it out(the adults might have gotten lost once) pretty quick and the house is only a 10 minute walk from the mountain base.
We really enjoyed staying at this property in Big Sky. It is spacious and has an amazing common area for a group to get together after dinner or during the day. The house has everything one can possibly need during a short vacation. The communication with host was quick and effective. The only minor thing you need to know is that it's not truly ski-in / ski-out, as you still have to walk for a few minutes to the nearest lift, but otherwise the location is great. Would definitely recommend!
The house was very spacious and had plenty of beds to sleep in. We enjoyed making a fire every night and there was plenty of fire wood. The kitchen supplies were somewhat lacking. When we arrived there were only 8 forks & 2 wine glasses. The manager did bring us more but it took a day. Both the garage door opener and the master bedroom fireplace remotes didn’t work - batteries needed to be replaced.
It was easy to ski back to the house (once we learned the correct route), but we had to walk about 50 yards towards the lift to be able to ski the rest of the way.
For what we needed this property was great. A person can ski-in to the house, you can ask any Big Sky employee how to get here as long as you specify the otter lift. Ski-out is a little more difficult, we ended up having non-skiers drop us off at the main lift. This was super simple. A person could walk 5 minutes to the parking lot to get on the free shuttle.
We had 2 couples and 3 single people and the house has plenty of space. The hot tub was great after a long day on the slopes. The kitchen had the utensils we needed to cook meals.
The drive to the village was about 5 minutes about the drive to town was about 15 minutes. The village had the skiing while the town had the stores and restaurants. Not everyone went alpine skiing, other people went cross country skiing, snow shoeing, snowmobiling, sleigh rides and other activities.
Overall our group had a good experience.
