About this property
Beautiful, secluded house located on water overlooking ski mountain
If you can name it you can do it here!! This house is located on beautiful Beaver Pond and overlooks Shawnee Ski Mountain just 2 miles away. The house is located on a private lane and has its own beach. There are 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (2 full baths) and can easily fit up to 8 people. While here feel free to enjoy the canoe, kayak, grill, or fire pit or just sit back and enjoy the view from the 16 foot deck. If you wish to have a night out and wish not to drive you can walk up the lane to Pleasant Inn where there is a restaurant and bar with entertainment on weekends. North Conway is close by (20 minutes) where there are many restaurants and shops along with a host of family friendly activities. During October the Fry-burg Fair is only 10 minutes away. No matter what season you are in this home will accommodate you from swimming, to skiing from fires outside by the waterfront or on cold winter nights inside by the wood stove, to watching the Loons land on the water to ice fishing in the winter. If you can name it you can do it here.

About the host
Hosted by Henry DeMello

We are a family that have entertained and enjoyed this house and its beautiful surroundings since 1997. We have entertained adults and children (ages ranging from newborns to 82) here and all have enjoyed it. It truly is an oasis, a place to rejuvenate you mentally, physically and spiritually. I am certain you will enjoy every minute there.
Why they chose this property
Not only is the property located on a beautiful spot but it is also beautiful within. The house was just completely remodeled in 2008; from bathrooms to kitchen to the deck and bedrooms. It was done with a sense of style and comfort for all those who stay in it. I don't know what season is the best to stay. In summer it is so much fun to light a fire and sit by the water enjoying a drink and family and friends. In winter taking walks on the frozen lake and enjoying a nice wood fire in the woodstove. In Fall taking the canoe around the lake and watching the leaves change. In Spring taking long hikes to see the rebirth of life. Honestly, it is a place of rejuvenation and relaxation to be enjoyed with family and friends.
