Like staying with a favorite relative

Great location for Parris Island - I can't imagine finding a better place to stay for family day and graduation. The house was clean and easily the best stocked home we've ever rented. From the teapot to the fenced back yard, anything we needed was there. Not only was the home well stocked and clean, but it was charming and well decorated and full of nice touches that made you feel like you were staying in the home of family who had gone out of their way to get ready for you. While it was a great base for the USMC Graduation, I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the area and would wholeheartedly recommend the home to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

Marine graduation

We had an amazing time. This house was perfect. Close to Paris island, and beach. Very clean, and beautiful colors on wall. Loved the fire pit. We left wood for the next person, bc we enjoy the fire so much. Games provided, beach chairs, and popcorn. Quiet neighborhood close to Walmart and a lot of restaurants. Over all 10/10. We would definitely book this house again!

We are a German American Family who has called the Lowcountry our home since 2013. Our daughter's recently graduated from high school and are now attending the University of Clemson, so we are Tiger's fans. But we still love Gamecock fans, too. Some of our best friends are Carolina fans:-)

Why they chose this property

This quiet single-family neighborhood sits on the border between Beaufort and Port Royal, making it a great starting point for the whole area. There are a number restaurants and grocery stores within a very short distance and it is also less than a mile to the Spanish Moss Trail, a 17 mile paved biking and walking path that runs from Port Royal through Beaufort, crossing marsh areas, fishing spots, old train depots and shipyards. It is also near the Parris Island Marine Base.

What makes this property unique

Due to the proximity of our property to the USMC Base at Parris Island, we have furnished and decorated Fort Freedom to commemorate our troops and graduates of the USMC. We love hosting the families of USMC graduates as they prepare for exiting next steps in their lives. We also invite guests to bring their furry friends to our home, which has a large, enclosed back yard with bbq, fire-pit and deck.
