Was a great stay. Location great, house great, yard great. Had an internet issue, contacted owner and follow up great. Hope to stay here next Thanksgiving week.
My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful house and we were very pleased by the experience. Tucked away in a the historic area, this charming retreat offered the perfect blend of tranquility and comfort.
We prefer vacation rentals over a hotel, and this one might just be our very favorite out of all we’ve ever rented. Great accommodations and location. We hope to return soon.
We really enjoyed our week! Very nice place and so homey! Our little fur baby enjoyed being able to have the fenced in back yard to play in and laying under the fans on the screened in porch! Very quiet and peaceful!
Enjoyed our stay. Great location and met our needs. We had our two small dogs and I was very pleased when I saw how nice and neat the fenced in back yard was. Will stay again. Thank you!
This is a wonderful home that has all the modern touches. The best perk = the screened in front porch. One suggestion, the living room furniture is a little uncomfortable. But we will be back!
We were only in town for a marine corps graduation so we didn't get to spend much time at the house but wished we had more time to! It has many relaxing features and would be great for a little relaxing get away!
We loved the closeness to historic down town. Loved seeing beautiful homes on our morning walks and the beaches. Family here from Ireland and montreal and us in NC. Only thing missing . A tea kettle for our " tea time" lol. everything truly was great! Would definitely recommend the cottage !
This home was charmingly historic but with modern amenities. With a nice screened in front porch, large backyard, living area and dining area, there was plenty of room for our group to enjoy each others' company. It was about a mile's walk from the downtown area though shady streets amidst beautiful buildings and cemeteries.
The hosts were very responsive and accommodating.
We spent two comfortable nights on Prince Street while waiting for our furniture to arrive as we were in the process of moving to Beaufort from NH. The fenced backyard was great for our dog Byron who prefers the outdoors. Great to have a washer and dryer, but found the towel situation to be a bit wanting.
