About this property

COCOA'S COTTAGE!! Pet-friendly! Near the Beach!

Two bedroom, 1 bath open floor plan. Ground-level and pretty, fenced-in yard. Perfect for guests with pets!

There's so much to do on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, and this is a great place to launch. This property is located on the eastern edge of Pass Christian, Mississippi, near Long Beach. There is ample parking and a place for your boat, too! Ideal for couples or families. Will accommodate 4-6 people. Respectful pet-owners and their pets are most welcome. Our little cottage has all the creature comforts of home, including a piano for music lovers!

Within a 10 mile radius there are fabulous restaurants, golf courses, harbors, casinos, deep sea fishing, pier fishing, wade fishing, quaint shops, antiques, beautiful views, parks and walks, river rafting, historical homes... and of course, the beautiful, white sand beaches! Only an hour from New Orleans!

This little cottage was very clean and roomy. The neighborhood and neighbors were very nice, friendly with lots of dogs and great area to walk. Access to the beach and bike /walking/ running path was excellent. Close to many coffee shops restaurants and open air markets. The owner was kind snd very responsive to any needs.

Great getaway super close to beach and walmart

We really enjoyed staying here, was quiet and tranquile. There are beach bicycles in case you want to go on an outing, and also the place was professionally cleaned. Older property and laundry room could use a bit updating, but washer and dryer works well.We enjoyed the stay!

Cottage spot was awesome

Cocoa's Cottage was a great place to unwind and relax. Having bicycles there was a bonus. The Walmart was super close as well as other food options. It wasn't a long drive to Gulfport at all either.I really loved the sitting area on the front porch and with the yard being fenced in my dog sat out there with me for hours.

Home Away From Home

Perfect for a family of 4. Reminded me of times when I visited my parents. Very clean and excellent communication. All the info in the custom binder is a big plus for those looking for things to do or places to eat locally. Close to a WalMart and just off the beach which made the trip even easier. Even has bikes for those wanting ro ride down to the beach. Would definitely book again!

The Great Escape

We enjoyed our time at Coco's Cottage. The house is conveniently located to all the local sights. The outside seating area and yard are fantastic and the home itself is perfect for a getaway. We loved it and plan to return on our next visit to the area.

This cottage is really relaxing and comfortable. The two bedrooms are quite large and the living spaces have been opened up to feel very open. Back yard is nice. Short walk to the beach. Close to shopping. We’d definitely stay again.

This is a cute, clean home in a very quiet neighborhood furnished with just about everything you need, other than food and bathroom essentials (bath soap, shampoo, toothpaste, etc). It is within walking distance of the beach. The owner is very friendly and available via text. Our stay was very pleasant and we would stay again.

Cocoa cottage

We had a nice stay. The beach was in walking distance. We didn’t walk in the beach though because no dogs were allowed. We did sober shipping in the surrounding area. The kitchen facilities were more than adequate. We cooked some of our meals but also enjoyed the local restaurants. Lauren was responsive to our questions and concerns.

For our vacation visiting Cocoa's Cottage was like a home away from home. Lauren's little touches made us feel so welcome and the cottage was exactly like the picture. Originally from New Orleans, I moved with my family to the area when I was young and grew up less than three miles from this precious little house, where my grandparents retired. I still live close by in nearby Long Beach. It has meant a lot to me to restore and remodel this home, making it 'new' again. It is my pleasure to make it available to others to enjoy.

Why they chose this property

This property has been in my family for a number of years --- my grandparents retired here, and my father lived here, too. I acquired it in 2010 and named it Cocoa's Cottage, after my dad's canine companion.

What makes this property unique

This cottage is completely fenced in--- a great place for children or pets to play. Also, it is wheel-chair friendly. Are you a musician? This cottage has a spinet piano for you to enjoy. Cable, wireless internet, stainless appliances, jalousie windows, ceiling fans, oak trees, spacious front porch and back patio for grilling. Parking for up to four cars and/or a boat.
