This was a great location for a weekend getaway for a family of five. It’s a little bit of a drive from town but that’s what we wanted and we enjoyed the countryside. The house was supplied with everything we needed. Communication with the host was excellent. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.
We really enjoyed the character of this farmhouse. It was clean and had plenty of rooms for all of us. There were storms the first night but the brick house kept the noise down. The host was very communicative and the check in was easy. The kittens were an unexpected surprise and fun to hang out with. We also enjoyed the stars at night. It was an enjoyable experience overall. Highly recommend for a quiet country accommodation.
Mark was able to provide a clean, relaxing, and comforting place to stay. The house was clean, beds were comfortable, and all appliances worked. There was plenty of space to sit and hangout. The massaging chair was an added bonus. Arrival and departure was made easy. Mark had excellent, timely communication. I would definitely book with Mark again in the future if the need arises!
My siblings and I stayed at what we affectionately called the Limestone Castle during a visit to Kansas to attend services for my Sister in Law. Although I’ve visited my brother and his family several times over the past few years in Chapman, we all agreed that Solomon made us feel like this was our first time in Kansas. Between the beautiful view, and dirt roads, we got to see a whole new side of the state. The house itself offers the charm of an old farm house with modern conveniences such as Wi-Fi, a massage chair, flat screen TVs, and a nice office space.
We had meetings in Salina and Mark’s property offered us a cozy homey feeling that was comfortable and well equipped. The stone home was also very charming. We were able to go for a 2-mile walk after sitting all day and enjoyed the countryside. We would definitely stay here again!
The house needed to be disabled friendly. It was hard for my two friends to get in and out of the house, giving in and out of the shower, and the low toilet.
