Location was great, host was great, and the beds were so comfortable! The coffee supplied was so good I asked the host what it was! My only issue was the stairs. Three sets of stairs to haul up luggage etc was kind of a lot.

The free weekend parking spot made exploring the city easy. Location was great. The host went above and beyond with providing spare toothbrushes which came in handy for one of our guests. The host was very responsive and helpful.

Really nice place with a few caveats

Communication with manager was excellent, quick and responsive. Place was very clean and updated. Small appliances were plentiful and new. Very quaint and it has Portsmouth style! We were fine with everything and had a great time but I feel like I'd be remiss if I don't point a few things out that aren't super apparent in the description.1. There really isn't family or living room. There is a couch and TV in one of the bedrooms. Communal time essentially has to take place in the kitchen.2. The steps were fine for us, but would be precarious for someone with mobility issues of any kind or small children. You can use your hands on the steps ladder-style going up so that is OK, but descending is a bit more of challenge. And as a parent, I'd be afraid a younger child might tumble down them. 3. I get it, it's a small city, but having to pay for parking in a nearby garage was a little annoying. Even though 1 /hour is a great deal for city parking, it still ends up being 20 a day for each day you are there. Not a deal breaker, but something to be aware of.OK, so, if you know those things going into it, you will NOT be disappointed! It's a cool place and a close-to-the-good-stuff location overall.

Location is great! Right in the heart of downtown Portsmouth. Fully equipped kitchen was wonderful. Check in and check out were a breeze. Stairs to the bedrooms are a bit steep, but otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property!
