The property was located very close to the Yale campus which made walking to campus extremely easy. The room itself was clean and was as advertised. Owner was extremely responsive and communicated check in and check out procedures effectively.

The studio was nice: good furnishings, a very comfortable high-density foam mattress. Unfortunately I didn't receive the day-of message providing the access codes and had to request once I was there. I got that, but not the wifi access info.The street is busy, with street life at night. That was fine by me but useful to know.

My friend and I had to rebook due to lack of heat on the property. It was very cold when we visited in March, so staying here was not an option. When I messaged the host, they stated that there were working radiators on the property, which there were not, and after more messages back and forth, it became clear that we were receiving AI responses. These were confusing and frustratingly unhelpful, and eventually the host stopped responding.I received my money back in May after filing a dispute with my financial institution—the Vrbo Support team, though much more responsive than the host, could not refund, as when I'd booked, the payment had gone directly to the host rather than through Vrbo. Also, upon arriving at the property, the shower curtain and rod were on the floor in a heap, and we were unable to get them back up with the suction cups ... All this to say, I recommend looking elsewhere for your stay.

The place was cooled before I arrived with an air conditioning unit making it a nice welcome.The host was communicative and hospitable. They left more than enough towels, pillows, blankets. I super appreciated how clean everything was and it smelled good which made them comfortable to use and sleep in the bed.
