Fantastic, the photos do the home justice. Beautiful views from all levels of the home. Wonderfully sat in the tall redwoods. Super quiet, but still with great access to downtown Mill Valley.
This is a special and beautiful place. “Glass treehouse” is a perfect description. These homes in the outer part of Mill Valley are all built on steep hills and are surrounded by large redwoods. The property maximizes the view by intentionally omitting window coverings. However, you’re up so high and surrounded by trees so there is no line-of-sight from neighbors. You can walk into town in 15-20 mins if you are reasonably mobile (there are stairs/trails or you can just walk down the streets). You have to be comfortable driving windy, narrow roads (1 lane in many places) and parking in a small area out front. But, in my opinion, it’s well worth it
Great property to feel like you're getting away from it all, really does feel like you're in the trees. Nice common area and dining table, rooms were clean and everything worked well. Easy access to a lot in the area, but a bit tricky of a drive if you're not used to narrow roads.
The hosts were incredibly comminicative. The views from the bedrooms and living area were spectacular. The beds were very comfortable. Most of the homes on that mountain are also multi-level. Nestled at the tops of the redwood forest. Perfect view of Mt Tamalpais and can see the weather chsnging on the mountain.
This is just as beautiful in person as in the photos!! Absolutely gorgeous property, very comfortable, and we had everything we needed. Communication for any small issues was great. Parking (and driving) was tight for one of our large vehicles, but we still got it done.
Andy and Jen were great communicators. The house offered spectacular views of the stars at night and the morning beautiful views. The whole vibe of the house was cool. Our family of 8 fit quite nicely in the accommodations. We used the big dining table for family games and dinner. Be prepared for a somewhat sketchy drive on the last two miles of your drive to the destination. If you’re not coming and going a lot you will enjoy the nice walks and views.
Gorgeous setting! House has lovely decks for enjoying the scenery and fresh air. Indoors is also spacious and comfortable. Hosts were quick to respond about a missing supply item. The main issue with this rental is that parking spaces are insufficient for the house size. There is only 1 guaranteed spot in the driveway, plus a small gravel roadside spot that felt unsafe to me & my guests (the gravel was several inches lower than the pavement, so we weren't sure we could exit the space). There are precious few other spots in the neighborhood, so you might have to park far away. If you want to come & go from the house and can't fit your whole party in 1 car, it could be a real hassle. Another thing to be aware of is that the "main" level is down a full flight of stairs. We had some octogenarians in our group, so accessibility was important. The outdoor stairs on the left side of the house worked ok (better handrail than the stairs on the other side).

Quick note: we now dedicate both (2) driveway parking spaces to this listing's home, not just 1.
