★ A NOTE ON YOUR WOODLAND ESCAPE ★ We are thrilled to share our slice of nature with you! Because this home is nestled in the heart of the woods, please keep in mind that you are visiting a thriving ecosystem. While the peace and privacy are unmatched, "vacationing in the woods" comes with a few natural quirks: - Wildlife: It is common to see deer, turkeys, and squirrels. Occasionally, larger neighbors like raccoons may pass through. Please keep all food indoors and dispose of trash in the secured bins provided to avoid uninvited dinner guests. - The "Bug" Factor: We maintain a professional pest control schedule; however, the occasional spider, beetle, ladybug, or wasp may find their way inside—especially during rain or seasonal shifts. These "woodland friends" are simply part of the forest experience. - Spring Pollen Disclaimer: If you are visiting during the spring, please be aware that the forest is in full bloom! A fine dusting of yellow pollen on outdoor furniture and decks is common during this time. Guests with sensitivities may want to come prepared. - Keeping doors and screens closed will help keep the great outdoors exactly where it belongs—outdoors!
We encourage you to have a great time, but respect the cabin and neighboring cabins. Sounds travel very far in the remote areas of the forest.

High Road Cottage was clean, welcoming, and perfectly located—quiet but close to everything in Broken Bow. The hosts were friendly and great to work with, even agreeing to refund my pet deposit after I decided not to bring my dog. We’d definitely stay here again!
Brown water from sinks, clothes from the last guest left in the closet, nail clippings on the coffee table, multiple large spiders, filthy Keurig and a water leak with mold. 8 hours of driving and 2 tanks of fuel wasted. Minimal communication from Treeline Vacations despite our attempts to resolve this issue. Still fighting for a refund after 5 days. I’ve finally contacted our credit card company to dispute the charges since we didn’t stay.
