My family of 6 loved our stay! The teenagers enjoyed having their own space in The Treehouse. The walk to the lake is short and easy to access. The cottage is beautifully decorated and has so many comfortable little touches. We enjoyed the screened-in porch and fire pit. Audrey was a gracious host and quickly answered all of my questions. We look forward to going back!

We had the best time staying at the tree house! The rooms and beds were quite comfortable. The outside swings and firepit were a hit with my son. Having the extra space of the treehouse was nice for my father who came along for the trip. Everything was very clean the host was great at responding and helping coordinate fishing questions. The lake was nice and very relaxing. Overall we could not have been happier!

The house was beautiful and the owners were even better! They helped me when our family reunion location was changed and gave options for us. The house did have a smell but it didn’t affect our stay. Would stay again!!

We had the most peaceful, serene stay here. In spite of the pecans falling on the porch roof and giving me a heart attack, I'd stay here again and again. It was very clean and very well appointed. The lot is very private which makes you feel like you're in your own little world. The bed was super comfy and the outdoor spaces are wonderful. You truly feel like you're in a peaceful retreat here!

Anniversary trip

My husband and I along with two of our friends all celebrate our anniversary on the same day. We booked this location so the guys could enjoy some fishing, we could all spend time together, and still have our own privacy. This place was so beautiful and welcoming the guys didn’t want to ever leave and us girls just wanted to get back home to see the kids! We will definitely be considering this location in the future!

Super cute but needs generator

The place was super cute!!! If your looking for a peaceful get away this is the place to be, but definitely plan around any bad weather, we woke up Saturday and Sunday morning with no power or water that wasn’t fixed till 5. We also didn’t know it was on a dirt road so definitely bring a truck and not a car.

Short stay

We came in for a wedding. The directions to the house were easy to follow. There was a welcome basket with instructions on how to get to the lake and things to do around the area. We flew in so it was nice to have soap and laundry detergent upon arrival. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals for our family of 4. We were very comfortable staying here and our kids (10yo and 15yo) loved the treehouse! The owner answered our messages promptly. Overall it was a great stay!

Fantabulous!!

We stayed 5 nights at the ‘Tree House’. Absolutely adorable place and it was great to have the 2nd living area! We enjoyed hanging out around the fire pit in the evening and strolls down to lake. We also fell in love with a local donut/coffee/drink shop in Wedoweee - Wake and Shake - is simply awesome. Audrey is a great host and amazing interior decorator!Things to know before you go:1) The house is located in the hills, on a dirt/gravel road (very pretty area). If you are planning to drive a low clearance sports car to the house, you’ll likely scrape. 2) The lake is drawn down during the winter and early spring for maintenance. The water access from the house will be limited until the lake returns to level (I believe this is around April 1). 3) You will not be disappointed with this place!
