Tucked away in a quiet gated community, this charming 400 sq. ft. tiny house offers unparalleled privacy in a serene, natural setting. Surrounded by lush forest and a short hike to a spectacular waterfall, this hidden gem feels anything but tiny—it’s a unique escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Tucked back into a wooded lot, Nesthaven offers a spacious feel that extends far beyond its cozy interior. Sip your morning coffee on the oversized covered porch while listening to the birds, or gather around the firepit for an evening of stargazing and marshmallow roasting. The outdoor spaces invite you to reconnect with nature and create lasting memories.

Cozy Comfort Indoors

Designed to sleep up to five guests, the thoughtfully crafted interior blends comfort with functionality:

* Main Bedroom: A cozy queen-size bed tucked
behind a sliding door for privacy.
* Loft Area: A playful retreat with a queen bed and
twin bed, overlooking the great room and offering
treehouse-style views.
* Great Room: A two-story space with a warm
fireplace and a wall of windows to let in natural
light and forest views.

The well-equipped kitchen includes essentials like a full size oven/range, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, and Keurig. Prepare meals in the oven or on the grill, or enjoy takeout from nearby eateries. A washer and dryer are also available in the home for convenience.

We were in town for a show at the caverns. Check-in was very easy, communication was exceptional!! Saturday, the day after our show, was a "free" day for us. We packed sandwiches, hiked a short distance to the waterfall...it was absolutely gorgeous!! The property/park was perfect- inviting, clean, cozy and very homey!! We would definitely recommend and would absolutely return for another weekend visit!

Peaceful getaway

This was such a cute little place! So quiet and peaceful. There’s a waterfall nearby and you can hear it from the back porch. Lots of deer on the property if it’s quiet. Plenty of things to do nearby. Especially if you enjoy hiking. We are not pro hikers so we just stuck to some of the easier trails. Sewanee and University of the South is definitely worth checking out as well. Stunning! We loved our stay here and the host was super sweet and very communicative! Will be back!

This tiny house is really cute and the owners were very responsive. We had an issue with the gate code upon arrival late at night but the owners responded immediately. I would suggest that the gate code be sent with all of the other information about checking that comes from vrbo 2 days before check in so that everything is in one place. While the decor and sofa were pretty, the sofa was not the most comfortable and after a long day I was hoping for a comfortable spot to sit and unwind. Those 2 notations are the only issues and everything else was great. This house is well cared for and clean. The owners have thought of many details to make a great stay. I would stay again (with the hope of a new sofa).

There’s something so rewarding about welcoming guests to our tiny home and sharing the magic of this area. It’s not just about providing a place to stay—it’s about creating an experience, whether that’s finding peace in the quiet forest, exploring the local trails, or just enjoying a cup of coffee on the deck while the creek hums in the background.

We chose this property because it was love at first sight. The moment we saw it, we knew it was something truly special. Nestled at the end of a private, wooded drive, it felt like our own hidden retreat—a place where we could unplug, slow down, and fully immerse ourselves in nature. The sound of the creek flowing through the property sealed the deal for us. There’s something so calming and magical about having that natural soundtrack in the background, whether it’s a soft trickle on a quiet day or a lively stream after the rain.

The location was also a huge draw for us. Being close to Monteagle meant we’d have easy access to some of our favorite outdoor activities, like hiking at Fiery Gizzard or exploring the trails to hidden waterfalls. It’s the perfect mix of seclusion and convenience—far enough from the hustle and bustle to feel like an escape, but close enough to enjoy great food, local shops, and all the outdoor adventures we love as a family.

Outside, the oversized deck, firepit area, and over an acre of land give you plenty of space to unwind, play, and explore.

We’ve also paid close attention to the details to make your stay special. From the twinkling string lights above the firepit to the hammocks nestled between the trees, every element of Nesthaven is designed to invite relaxation and connection with nature.
