Great quiet place. Had everything we needed. Peaceful view also. Only downfall was long dusty gravel road to it.

Chrissy, thank you so much for your kind review! We’re so glad to hear you enjoyed the peaceful setting, beautiful view, and that the cabin had everything you needed. We appreciate your feedback regarding the gravel road as well. The road through the neighborhood is a well-maintained gravel road, but during extended periods without rain, dry conditions can naturally create more dust when driving on gravel. While those conditions are outside of our control, we certainly understand that the dusty drive can be a bit of a drawback. We truly appreciate you choosing RRG Getaways, and we hope to welcome you back for another unforgettable getaway in the Red River Gorge!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here! The property was exceptionally clean and well-maintained from top to bottom. Our favorite part of the stay was spending time on the back patio—the views were breathtaking, and relaxing in the hot tub at the end of the day was the perfect highlight. Highly recommend!

Great view very private close to local sites.Romantic sunsets from back deck even seated in the very clean easy to work hot tub, Nice propane grill and chairs with your beverage.Very clean unit with Modern kitchen and bathroom. Only con is the coach sits a little too low to be real comfortable. Could use a side table by the coach, no big deal other wise.Very nice relaxing stay.

As a solo traveler, I felt comfortable and safe in the area. All the comforts of home - I especially appreciated the blue tooth speaker to connect my laptop to.While no reflection on the property, the journey to get there on an extremely rutted gravel road was treacherous, especially returning in the dark. But once there, you forget about the drive!

The property was modern and somewhat remote. The house was very clean with modern appliances and a well equipped kitchen. The rear deck area was perfect for a great hot tub experience, lounging or grilling. The indoor sauna was an added plus along with a huge shower for 2. A great place for a couple to reconnect and relax.

This Honeydew cabin was fantastic! Very clean, modern, inviting, fabulous view, and had everything we needed. Even though there is another property pretty close by, the back porch was still very private, and we weren’t able to see any other properties from there. I would DEFINITELY stay here again!

The property is absolutely gorgeous. Everything was as described. Well appointed with everything you need for an enjoyable stay including some toiletries, basic cooking seasonings, and all the kitchen equipment you need. And not the cheap stuff, actually very nice quality. The bed was super comfortable! The location was great! Close to where we needed to go (Gorge Undergroud, Miguels, coffee shop) and a stunning view. Would definitely stay again!

Honey Dew Experience

Just from the photos of the property we were excited to get to Honey Dew and when we got there we were not disappointed! Everything to turn a cabin in the woods to all the luxury you’d expect in a 5 star hotel! We had a fabulous stay and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a romantic and relaxing getaway! Hiking, kayaking and exploring during the day and luxurious serenity every evening! Loved it!

Hey Stephanie, we appreciate your honest review! Glad you enjoyed your time here. To touch on your comment here for future guests. Stephanie messaged us multiple times during her stay with us, and we responded quickly to help with all of her concerns, which was just the TV and closest grocery store. She then provided us with feedback a few days after her departure to which we were very thankful for and have worked to make sure all future guests have a fantastic stay here at Honeydew!

April 2025 Getaway

Cabin was perfect! Biggest challenge was with internet connectivity via Verizon. Wifi name and PW was not listed anywhere in the cabin. Propane ran out within a few mins of starting the firepit. Other than that though it was a great experience! Very clean and very peaceful! I would highly recommend!!!
